Where I live one is forced to go to high school. But I brought knives anyways. They can't arrest you, it's not against the LAW like in Australia, it's just against the school policy.

The real question is why Australia is campaigning so heavily against knives. We have no problems with our laws here. I think it's fear-mongering by politicians pandering to the weak-minded.
