If you're going to start throwing around the intelligence defense, have the audacity to spell iota correctly. Maybe English isn't your first language, and that's fine - but don't start coming at the intelligence of others as if you are superior because you are NOT the second coming of Einstein.
Bruce Jenner of himself may not important, but celebrities coming forward as transgender will only help to increase awareness for transgender rights and increase visibility. It doesn't matter if it's a Kardashian or it's someone from The Avengers. The mere fact that his transition is causing so much ruckus is evidence enough that change MUST come.

She is right about the decathlon and the privileges of male athletes. Women can’t complete in the decathlon and the women’s heptathlon was only introduced as an Olympic event in 1984, the same year that women were first allowed to compete in an Olympic marathon.
The women’s 10,000 metres track event was introduced in 1988 and women had to wait until 2008 for the first Olympic 3000 metres Steeplechase.
The opportunities for female athletes were very limited back in 1976 when Bruce won his gold medal. There was no athletics combined event for women and the longest running event was 1500 metres.

Yeah, she's right about female athletes not having the right to run and Bruce not being affected because he was a male athlete. That still doesn't invalidate his plight as a transgendered individual. It doesn't take away his right to identify as a female if that is what he is.

Well i for one was not paying attention to any of this Kadarshian-Jenner attention whoring crap .
Am quite surprised that people who are trans and whatnot can't see right past them and realise their just doing this for PR. I mean ,now on Atrl Bruce Jenner is a trans icon who you can't criticise but i guess ya'll just take whatever you can get .....

No, lol. If they were doing it for PR, Bruce wouldn't literally be transitioning. Bruce would probably just do drag or something.

I used Jota like the Gothic translation of the New Testament according to Matthäus my friend. 
And since English is mostly just a derivate of the Germanic language, I can choose every German or even Gothic word to come across.

I don't think Bruce is doing this for PR but I'm not gonna try and change your mind, so lets say he is. What this "PR" move has done has really helped so many people and hugely raised awareness of the transgender struggle. People can criticize him all day long but have valid reason, she attacked him with an argument that made no sense, when he competed in the olympics he was in a time period that would accept transgender even less than now, and was still coming to terms with it himself. So why should his past Olympic career give her reason to say he's "playing a woman".
I get the Kardashians have a reputation for whoring out any private matter they can but maybe you should look past the person doing it, and look at the positive effect this has had, as right now you look as ignorant as this woman does.
