1989 is from 2014, so yeah, it's too fresh. Beyonce sold over 3M and the singles kinda flopped ww. Speak Now is local. BTW is huge album, but it's not remembered, see TFM and Gaga's singles from this era.
Teenage Dream is still charting, spawned huge ww hits, the album cover is iconic and made impact.
