are ghostwriters supposed to come forward and claim they wrote a song? surely doing that means there's less of chance of someone else having them 'ghostwrite' for them though?
No. In the hip-hop community it is frowned upon to A.) have a ghostwriter and B.) sell out your client (although it always makes for good mess).
