yeah it was offered for leona first but she feels the song did not suit her voice and some parts were too hard for a simple voice. thanxfully Bey pull this off.

this era is doing pretty bad, even uk is not showin her any love, and from the snippets the album sux, maybe she will have better luck next time.

No, what she said was that she wasn't interested in just being handed songs to sing on her sophomore.

She wanted a hand in writing her own songs, that's why Echo has mostly Leona written songs.

and unlike Beyonce, when a track has a Leona writing credit on it, you can be sure she actually had co written it.
