It just hit me they've consistently done that.

Well...

Get Up was out before Promise.
Go Girl was initially the lead single for Fantasy Ride.
Speechless came after Ride.
Sweat came before Sorry/Got Me Good.

I'm not following how is this album release is similar to any other eras. Infact this one was the first she put out a tell-all breakup ballad. It's kind of in a league by its own.
She's doing it right this time around!

the leak is the least thing to worry about
if they are gonna buy it, they will. if they ain't, they won't. and most of the time the GP isn't even aware of the leak

In my mind, Get Up is the first single for The Evolution, but Promise was the first "official" single

I purposely left Go Girl out.

I couldn't remember if Speechless came before Gimmie Dat, so I just grouped it as a dual release.

And I TOTALLY forgot about Sweat. I'll never get over how they scrapped it's release literally a week after it dropped.

Why did they think Speechless would be a good single? Her relationship with Jive must've really sucked
