This one time I went to the gym without eating anything at all and I do 10 machines then abs then cardio. I finished the 10 machines and I was going to the ab station I felt lightheaded and tunnel vision. I kind of freaked out and started to bolt to head home which isn't good I should have just layed down for a few minutes. As I was trying to get out of the gym as quick as possible to get home I fainted dramatically into this muscular guys arms The gym was packed so everyone saw, I didn't go back to the gym for like a few months

I have a home gym as well and I STAY on the treadmill. It doesn't affect my home's electricity though. I don't live in the ghetto.

Planet Fitness wasn't that bad here. Our lunk alarm was just a decoration so the guys would workout like normal and nothing would happen.

I did have a muscular friend who went and worked out with me in a cut off shirt and one of their employees told him that he couldn't wear that shirt anymore because it was "gymtimidating"

I got yelled at by some old 70 yr old man because I didn't wash down the machine after I was done using it, and everyone was watching and I was just like "Uh, don't talk to me" but I guess that would be my worst experience.

Switching from PF to Golds is such a culture shock. My first day at Golds, and all these guys are wearing two napkins tied with a piece of yarn for a tank top just doing poses in the mirror instead of workout

mess Planet Fitness a running joke among fitness fanatics because they're trash.

Um one time I was lifting with a friend and he dropped a weight bc it was too much and the gym was nearly empty except for this fat, balding, steroid ridden, squeaky fem voiced **** who yelled at us for dropping a weight and I literally dragged him irl.. I'm like 'who the **** are you to be telling us what to do? especially when you got that bitch of a voice sounding like a malfunctioning rubber duck at age 45, you don't own the gym' and he put his headphones back on and never tried it with us again. I had a bad day and that was just...

I've been at P.F. for over a year and I've yet to hear the lunk alarm. Now it may differ between locations but I don't even know what it sounds like - aside from the video posted. At times, they do offer pizza and other snacks but it's up to YOU if you want it; I never take it. Don't blame the gym YOU signed up for, that offered YOU free pizza, that YOU accepted. You get mai drift?



EDIT: I will say, however, the rep who stands at the desk is surprisingly overweight. Like, why hire an overweight person at a gym...regardless if they're behind the desk? Now I do find that quite baffling...

And SAME both of the people who work they're behind the desk are overweight. None of the people that worked there were fit.

The only gym I've ever been in is a school gym.

...oh, and this one big fitness center for a couple school field trips. But that doesn't count.



That said, I really do need to work out. I'm getting too big for my jeans.

I canceled 24Hr. fitness because there were tons of super old guys walking naked in the locker room, i felt super uncomfortable.

The first time I went to the restroom at the gym I walked in on a guy taking a shower. Got a full on view of everything.

I usually go to the gym in the morning so I don't have any bad experiences generally. Less crowded. More hot guys. Win win.

There's this one gym I go to that I really don't want to but because of the limited visits to the branch I frequently go to, I have no choice. (I workout at Gold's and I find it stupid not to offer unlimited workout sessions. They only do 96 and 144 visits per year which sucks because membership is so expensive but then Fatness First is a more expensive option and no offense, no good comes with that club)

I just hate filthy lockers, saunas and showers. And I also saw a used condom inside the sauna it was ****ing gross. The sauna is really REALLY small like 2 meters in length and the glass is see through and someone actually had the audacity to do it there. That gym is just filthy as ****. I always get sick after working out there.. I don't know if it's a psychological problem of mine or the place is just pure filth!

I applied to work at PF, and I got turned down because I was overqualified from winning a national sporting event twice. I thought gyms would want that? lol
