The show itself was actually pretty good but it seems like people don't really care for these award shows anymore. Not to mention that leading up to it the only commercials I saw mentioned Ed Sheeran, ACDC, and Ariana Grande - not exactly the best pull for people to tune in.
What difference do boring performances make? Not like people know they are going to be boring before they tune in. Did it start off high and people tuned out?
Well it's a trend and every year, award shows have had lesser ratings. It's simply because a lot of people don't care anymore, and the ones who do know that they don't have to sit through all this knowing that they can HULU/Youtube the highlights tomorrow
Well, except for a few performances it's more a show for the 'grown ups' and elderly. The show is just boring as ****. They won't draw that much young people in.
But on a serious note, you guys come up with so many excuses. Take the L, nobody is as invested in ratings as us.
This. Before it was the excuse that one of the major pop girls were missing but all Katy, Gaga, Bey, Madge and Rih were there and performed. There ain't any excuses this year.
