I am not sure if you are familiar, but FKA has a huge cult following - which crosses over to mainstream. It is a trend that is catching on and as people say about Rihanna, she has a great eye of understanding what trends are starting and then she attaches herself to it.

Enough people know about FKA Twigs to realize the similarities, hence this thread and discussion.

It's actually quite baffling. When Twigs started getting attention for her music and look, people new right then and there that her image would be "borrowed." The same thing happened to Rita that happened to Kelis that happened to Fefe...

I'm just over the denial at this point. And one of the main reasons I can never really get into Rihanna is the lack of authenticity. She's never the originator of any look or image she puts on per era but people want to act like she's such the innovator and trendsetter.
