I think they are calling for up to 3 feet of snow for Boston and parts of the New York and hurricane force winds, all they need to do now is throw in some sharks.
On a serious note, make sure you have the following if you are in the zone before it gets bad:
1. Fill your car up with gas. You won't be going anywhere but you can charge your phones if you lose power.
2. You can also use your car to get warmed up but make sure no snow is blocking the tail pipe.
3. Get food and water for a few days.
4. If you have a gas generator fill it up and get the can(s) refilled, you won't be making any trips back to get gas.
5. Make sure you have enough batteries and flashlights. LED flashlights are good they last a long time.
6. Don't be a hero and try driving somewhere, let the pro's do their job they will be plowing for days.
