I adore your posts. Most other Madonna fans can sort of dial it back when needed, but you foam at the mouth when you see a Gaga thread and just lose control and need to erupt at her for your own mental release. Do not go gentle into that good night!
OT: She nails a live vocal better than all her peers consistently.
She is the most passionate artist by far. After watching artRAVE and the way she cried in the end cuz it's her last concert for at least a year was very telling. She really lives to be on stage.
She's amazing to her fans, and as a gay man myself, I'm eternally grateful to for helping young gays accept and love themselves, and giving them the strength to go on
I love the song and video to 'Eh Eh (nothing else I can say)' and she looks beautiful in the video. And she has some good videos and songs. And she has a good voice (when she's not oversinging)
GaGa is nice. The problem with her music is that she just tries TOO HARD a lot. I honestly feel MJ was the same way later in his career (HIStory onward). You don't have to overdo it to make a good record that people love. You don't always have to be the most original. You're GaGa, the world still loves YOU. You still have your IT factor. Trying too hard to prove yourself doesn't always work and can diminish quality more often than people like to admit. That said, I do applaud her for being so passionate about her art/music that she does try her best. Relax and have fun (like you did with Just Dance, etc).
