Imagine hearing "Right Round", Flo-Rida's smash hit, without the female vocals on the song? Pretty much awkward, huh? Exactly like the video, which does not include the real female vocalist on the song. This pretty much proves that Kesha Sebert (from "Right Round") turns anything she touches to complete radness.
Kesha has been in the music industry for much longer than you'd think. Her first taste of exposure was appearing on the hit reality show, The Simple Life, starring Mrs. Fame herself, Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie. Her music has also been featured on Degrassi and MTV's hit 'reality' show, The Hills.
Her first major breakthrough in music was co-writing The Veronicas' hit single, "This Love", with producer, Toby Gad ("If I Were a Boy" Beyonce, "Big Girls Don't Cry" Fergie), as well as providing background vocals on the track. Since then, she has appeared on two tracks from Flo-Rida's smash album R.O.O.T.S; the number one hit "Right Round" and "Touch Me". She also did background vocals for Britney Spears ("Lace & Leather") and Ciara ("Tell Me What Your Name Is").
Kesha is currently hard at work on her debut album with producers Dr. Luke ("Right Round" Flo-Rida & Kesha, "Girlfriend" Avril Lavigne), J. R. Rotem ("SOS" Rihanna, "Beautiful Girls" Sean Kingston) and Toby Gad, among many others. Her promo club singles, "Boots and Boys" and "Backstabber", are already making waves at clubs. Her first single is set to impact radio this Summer, with an album following shortly after through RCA Records.
But P!nk is the OFFICIAL tag that appears on all of her covers. I guess we have to wait until Ke[S/$] releases something to iTunes to know how to tag her correctly. I chose not to scrobble her songs until then.
