Because it sold 1 million copies one week and off the charts in a blink of the eye.
When discussing front-loaded albums, longevity is automatically considered into the conversation. Did you need Beyonce to continue to sell 600k a week to be convinced otherwise? That's just dense and lacks common sense.
PRISM is in fact more front-loaded because it did not last on the charts and has sold less. How can you talk about longevity when Katy has literally sold less than Beyonce? With a headstart of 2 months? You can take away Bey's 617k opening and her album would still have more sales.
Hell, go ahead and take away the second week and put her beneath Katy and she still would recoup thanks to catalog sales. It's currently outselling it now.
