You raise a good point about separating out the actual charts and discussion of those charts, but I think it might be too complicated to do that, because of the way these things work. HITS updates roll in all day, and the Hot 100 is posted in pieces with the digital/airplay stuff coming first. It makes more sense to me to have weekly threads for those things.

Oh, sorry for not reading the "closed" part correctly lol. And I think what you said for the old charts is what I was trying to get at. And alright to the second part.
On another note, I used to post notable new music releases to iTunes every Tuesday in the iTunes thread, but quit doing that a while ago. Maybe in the weekly thread for iTunes, whoever makes it could post the notable new music released?
