Well is there anything supporting the notion that people are naturally attracted to their own race most? Considering race isn't biological, I would think it just comes down to (in some cases maybe unconscious) prejudices mixed with fears about what other people would think about you.
I don't have the figures right now, but there are a bunch of interesting statistics on interracial relationships, gender, and age. Like (white/black/Asian) (men/women) of (age) are (most/least) likely to date or marry outside of their race etc. Not sure if there was anything on sexuality though.
If I remember correctly, men and women of any race were more likely to be in an interracial relationship as they got older, potentially because they're no longer worried about how their parents would react. This could maybe be amplified for gays if they already had issues coming out, idk.
Anyways all the messages on Grindr with racial "preferences" are gross.
Oh and Jack'd is even worse. I downloaded it once to check it out, and you can literally turn on filters to exclude people by race, weight, height, etc. like you're searching through a damn food processing plant.
