I actually love it
She's said that the theme of this album is mid-late 80s, and that is 100% what I get when I look at this picture. I see 'The Breakfast Club' and 'Ferris Bueller's Day Off.'
I never thought we would see Taylor Swift of all people doing androgyny. The girl we're all so used to seeing in 1950s dresses. This is a massive change up for her, and the photo itself actually looks like it's from the late 80s. Thematically and stylistically, she knows what she's doing, and that's way better than making it up day-by-day as the era unfolds.
