I really am starting to wonder if there are any of the old publications left that aren't taking money from celebrities. It seems everyone is trying to be US Weekly. Beyonce is great and she's riding a wave right now but she's not doing THAT well.

P!nk had the highest grossing tour while her album was the #1 selling female album of the year while Just Give Me A Reason was the #1 song in the country and she might as well have been eating in a soup kitchen for all anyone cared. Is the media praising talent and success or are they being bought to perpetuate the image of talent and success?

It's like they come up with a title/ headline and then figure out their Methodology that will = a celeb that gives the magazine some attention.

No one here would dare deny Beyonce's impact but she's not comparable to the stones.
