Nowadays, white people are twerking because Miley popularised it and brought it to the mainstream. I didn't even know what twerking was (because I don't watch hip-hop videos) until I saw We Can't Stop.
She makes another good point - white people love to act black but they would never want to be black. Because to be black, you have to face the problems black people face on a daily basis, something whites will never truly feel and understand emotionally.
What the black reporter said is true, you can hide your sexuality (depending on how you dress and act, you can tone things down) but you can't hide the colour of your skin.
