Well Rih should be top 5 at the least this year, Unapologetic, DWT, River Island, MAC, Balmain.
She may be #1 in Marketability, Social Media, and I think she made a great deal of money last year. This may be her best year.

I don't think they ever reveal how heavily they weigh each category. If they revealed their specific formula, the list would never be a surprise because people could just calculate their own predictions. I feel like money is the main aspect but, perhaps not, since Gaga was above Oprah one year.

Can't believe that Pharrell gets a mention and not bruno, there's no way pharrell made more money than bruno between june 2013 & june 2014, Moonshine Jungle tour alone has already grossed more than 100m.

And most of that money doesn't go to him. It mostly goes tot he promoter and the sponsor. Artists' shares are never that big.

We're all like, "our fave should make the list because of x and x," but Pharrell made the list and he's no where near as big as the likes of Gaga, Rihanna, Beyonce, etc., so none of us really have any damn clue how they're choosing people for the list.
I feel like Bey, Gaga, and Shakira should be on the list since they're the only female musicians who made the Most Powerful Women list, but again, I don't know.

Pharrell has been an A LIST producer longer than we've known Bruno Mars existed.

Surely most, if not all, of the ATRL faves will make the list. It's just a matter of placement. The criteria for this list is different than the Most Powerful Women list.

Oh, I know it's different, but don't you think it would be odd for someone who landed on a list about Power to not make the Celeb 100, which also factors in power? It'd seem strange to me, especially since the women who landed on the Power list also have celebrity fame, money, social networking, etc.

What! for most artists tours are the main source of money, and according to parade bruno made $38m during 2013 alone. Bruno had hits, albums' sales, the super bowl which helps in the social media catogary and tour earnings.
