I honestly do not know. Nicki is the better rapper/artist. I hate to say it, but I honestly think one of the biggest advantages Iggy has is her skin color. I haven't heard much of her music, but imo Iggy kind of sucks. I think its weird how she is a white woman from Australia who fakes an accent of the urban communities from the south of the U.S. But apparently many people think she's awesome. Imo she is one of the weaker female mcs, with Nicki and Azealia being miles above her, talent wise.
Tell me in what universe, gorl. If you are white and mediocre in rap music, you will be praised to no end by the general public.
Is that why there's so many successful white rappers?
Girl bye with this flamebait thread. I'm glad you've established that you're a Nicki stan too.

She's not as polarizing as Nicki. Nicki's image is very love/hate because of how eccentric and outspoken she can be.
Iggy seems to want to be seen as the sweet, non-threatening, blonde that white girls/gay boys across America can rap along to and feel gangster. Basically, she's the rapping Katy.
raping katy? Have katy dissed other artist/ha stan so hardly on instagram?

Iggy, Vanilla Ice, MGK, Eminem, Mac Miller, Macklemore, and more. I'm not understanding why you can't accept the fact that white people excel in rap for no reason other than their color. I'm not saying its a bad thing for them, its just a fact.
A bunch of (gay) men thinking that there can only be one female representative for each genre.
Me being a bi female.
I don't think that, I'm more than happy for there to be multiple female rappers, I'm just asking why one of them is preferred by the general public and this site more than the other despite just entering the game.
How can she be more genuine? She uses a fake accent from a region where she wasn't even born or raised in? I'm not saying as person she is ingenuine, but her persona definitely is.
i love both iggy and nicki both. but the reason that everyone likes her more is she is the hot new thing. iggy unfortunately will go through her big moment in the spot light which will then be followed by the backlash just like everyone else.
I will say I have not liked nicki as much since she said she wants to appeal more to hardcore rap fans which to her meant she needs to say the "n" word 1000 x in a song.

Still waiting for waaay more names to prove this statement is accurate. (and saying the likes of MGK are "praised to no end by the general public" is quite a stretch but I'll let it slide)
