I wasn't around for Mj's and I wasn't into Beyonce back then but I actually remember Justin's transition pretty well because I was super into nsync. Celebrity was treated more as a launching pad for his solo career than a nsync album and it had me seething. One of the many reasons I don't like his ass. So not him.
Michael is obviously successful but Beyoncé had the best transition. She literally dropped Kelly and Michelle and no one really noticed. There was no extended time between dc and Beyoncé. You just blinked and Beyoncé no longer had backup singers. She was still singing all the verses, she was still getting the most camera time, etc. Nothing really changed.
You are delusional. So what is Destiny Fulfilled then?
Michael is way more acclaimed and successful than Beyonce though
It's nice that "acclaim" is what determines quality for you, however that's not the case for me. So like I said, when you take into account success AND quality, Bey wins!
I voted for Beyonce. While Michael also has a HUGE career and great success in both, his transition (his debut solo album, Got to Be There) wasn't as smooth a transition as Dangerously in Love. But if we count Off the Wall as his true debut as an adult then it is very comparable.
