Target just posted on their Facebook that the Album is out NOW and not yesterday... and a lot of people waited to buy the deluxe (that's the only place in the WORLD that sells it) so I guess the numbers should increase now on...

i think the debut numbers for coldplay will increase because "several accounts failed to put out the new titles at a substantial number of their stores. And Target, which has the Coldplay exclusive, advertised the Monday release in their circular as “in stores Tuesday.”

THIS! Like I said... it's on TARGET only from today... and it's the deluxe and the only place to buy it. maybe 370K +/-.

Yes remember yesterday all the trouble I had to go through to get a copy
And HDD said "very early numbers).
I still believe they can do 400K.

Why are people saying this is disappointing Album sales are tragic right now + they are 14 years in their career on their 7th album and they didn't have a huge hit single from the era yet. This is quite fine.

They're clearly outselling my fave with half the promo and zero radio hits.

I think those numbers are good, especially when compared to other releases this year. Album sales are terrible overall.

Given the state of the market, those are great numbers.

Don't think anyone topped Eric Church's 288k in February.
And we are in May. Sales are truly terrible.

I expected 300K for Coldplay since they don't have a hit this era, so those numbers are great
NOT Phillip Phillips flopping

Plus since they windowed the release to streaming services, they're trying to maximize all sales.

Knew Phillip would do bad.
His label is so incompetent. Coldplay is smart as they released their album for $9.99 on iTunes, yet Phillip is selling his for $14.99. His album is expensive like this in every store.
They need to lower the price NOW or suffer the consequences.
