I think Mariah is showing the first signs of a mid-life crisis. It's obvious she's jealous of Leona's success, the same way she was of Jennifer Lopez's seven years back.
Her rushed marriage to a guy eleven years her junior is further proof of that. Not to mention, her weight loss, platinum gold locks, and ultra-white teeth. She looks too over-the-top these days and it isn't flattering.

Leona is more Celine Dion than Mariah. Mariah has a SICK lower register that Leona doesn't possess. But she's plain like Celine who can also hit those big notes.
Why should Mariah Carey be threatened? How is Leona Lewis gonna cut her sales, make her less successful? Look at Beyonce and Rihanna. Has Rihanna even dented Beyonce's sales?
