I just don't understand why people feel the need to control two CONSENSUAL ADULTS. It literally makes no sense to me. You honestly can't be worried about the "sanctity of marriage" when you have marriages that last a month, high divorce rates, single parents, teenagers getting married because of an accidental pregnancy, etc. It's just so stupid. People need to separate their feelings with their stance. I hate tattoos, but I'm not going to say it should be illegal because it ruins the "sanctity of the human body." Like

The fight for "gay marriage" is just annoying. It shouldn't even be a damn issue. I hate how much importance it has in politics. We're worried about **** like gay rights and abortion in elections instead of actual problems because people refuse to move on to the 21st century.

It will happen gradually. You cannot expect everyone to support it out of nowhere when they have been taught otherwise in their whole life.

Marriage has been CONSTANTLY redefined.

It cracks me up that people think that it's always been a Christian union between one man and one woman. Like, no. You do NOT own the institution of marriage and you have NO clue about the history of it.

It's been re-defined in this fools lifetime with interracial marriage, let alone same sex.

I'm referring to people who are wiling to adopt a child/baby. They're usually responsible adults ready to raise a family. And in this case, you say it would hurt the child if a gay couple were to do it, as if the straight parents who dumped them off already didn't do just that.

I'm indifferent to gay marriage. As a gay male myself, I know that religion has always pushed us aside so I just think 'why would I want to force myself into being a part of religion when it's always been so horrible to us? '

But then again I am an atheist and I can see how people who are gay and religious would feel.

Idk I guess just legalise it for those who want it but tbh i feel like some gay people just want marriage for the sake of it and not for what marriage really is in terms of religion which is why I agree with the man in the video saying that marriage shouldn't be redefined...

That's not an excuse, you have to accept one another and deal with the fact that we are all created equally. It's not a hard concept to grasp. Accept and treat others as you would like to be treated. When you made a mistake as a child or as a grownup, you are corrected and you learn from it. People not supporting gay marriage are just stubborn.. end of.
