Flashing Lights' Top 50 Of 2007 (10-8) [Nelly, P!nk, Flo-Rida ..]
I would like to thank everyone who has commented my top 50. (Eventhough I wish more would comment). Now that we are in the top 10, I will give some background info from now on to #1. Here we go:

Nelly Furtado - "Say It Right"
At #10 is the only entry from the lovely Nelly Furtado. I actually was still in the "Maneater mood" when I heard this song. From the first time I heard this, the "Maneater era" ended faster than you can say "Say It Right"!  I loved this song even more than "Maneater", which shocked me, because I thought I was never gonna move on from that song. I didn't really understand the music video, I was hoping for a more sexual video, but it was cool.

P!nk - "U + Ur Hand"
At #9 is the comeback queen of the year, P!nk. The start of 2007 was a strange start for P!nk, as Z100 added her song, even when it was said to flop. To this day, it is unknown if it was payola, or whatever, but what I do is, when I heard this song for the first time, I said to myself, P!nk is back! I loved it. She showed her attitude with some great pop rock, and really did it well.

Flo-Rida ft. T-Pain - "Low"
How did I fall in love with this song so fast? Well first of all, it had the most addicting dance sounds of the year. Second, Flo-Rida's fast rapping impressed me so much. Third and finally, it had the hottest video of the year. The song is amazing, and I fell with it so much in three months it skyrocked to #8 in much less time, than it took the rest of the songs. I promise you if this was released in the summer, this would have my #1 on the top 50.

Gwen Stefani ft. Akon - "The Sweet Escape"
The "Wind It Up" era was ending it for me, and one day listening to Z100, I heard: "It's the brand new one from Gwen Stefani, The Sweet Escape". Now at first, I hated the woo hoo yee hoo's, but after that I was shocked at how great the song was, and it was 10x better than "Wind It Up", and I fell in love with it. I think I requested this like 1000 times on Z100. After this unfortunaly, Gwen started going south, hopefully she'll make a comeback!

Rihanna ft. Jay-Z - "Umbrella"
Ella, Ella, Ella. What a catchy chorus, and amazing as well. Rihanna proved to me with this song that she wasn't no one hit wonder. Now people are singing ella ella ella every 3 seconds. Rihanna has had a hell of a year, and with "Don't Stop The Music" looming to the top, 2008 should be hotter!

Fergie - "Big Girls Don't Cry"
OK. How should I state this? I HATED THIS SONG. I thought it would flop so hard, it wasn't even funny. Then the song grew and grew and grew, and now it's my favorite Fergie track. So successful and becoming her biggest hit to date. Fergie not acting 'Fergalicious' or 'Glamorous' grew on me and americans. Will 2008 be a surprise or a good year?

I agree with you on "Sat It Right".. I was still listening to "Maneater" and wasnt too sure what to make of it but its became a mini-classic now, great song.
