LMAO. Guys, I would've been upset if they were selling close to each other. But even if Britney had promoted her ass off, she wouldn't have reached 700K+ either. So the title belongs to The Eagles either way. And I would've hated to be delusional and think of 'Blackout' as the number one album when it's actually not. Just deal with it, guys. Billboard are being assholic here,true, but it's not THAT unfair either. Britney is still doing amazing and her album will have longevity because it's ****ing hot.

It isn't unfair with The Eagles. But it's unfair and disrespectful with everybody else. If they were considering this changing of rules, they should have done it AT LEAST before the albums were released last tuesday. It's simply unprofessional, in my opinion, Billboard is just desperate to scream "yay, an album can still make 700k these days".

If I knew coming into this week that Eagles were gonna be included, i wouldnt be that mad that Britney wouldnt be #1 but the fact that they "found out about The Eagles in 24 hours" and made their decision in one day is just mind-bloggling. Does anybody know how we can write to billboard? seriously this is so messy and unprofessional.

It is kinda disrespectful, because they released an article earlier stating that they were aware of The Eagles numbers but they won't count them in their chart. But arguing about that is pointless. If it was changed 2 months ago, The Eagles would've still got their number one. If they change it AFTER this week. The Eagles still have the best selling album of the week and I personally can't live with Britney being on number one when she's techincally not.

I love britney and all, but I think it would've been disrespectful for the industry to have britney be #1 considering how she's perceived by most people. Like it or not she's a train wreck. It' be like having infamous people like Paris Hilton be #1. But nothing of that matters cuz the eagles old more, that's what makes the difference here.
