Aren't they going to have a show with a lesbian couple?

I dunno. I could see it being really lame and cheesy. Maybe a side story where 2 characters are gay would be cool but I don't think a main story would work. Also in most gay love movies they make a huge part of the movie being about the character discovering their sexuality and I don't see how they could fit that into a Disney movie.

Pocahontas spent the whole movie discovering who she was, Cinderella spent a whole movie changing who she was, Mulan spent a whole movie pretending to be someone she wasn't and Ariel spent a whole movie finding where she belonged so I don't see a big difference tbh.

But Mulan had a dike in it, so we're close.

It WILL happen eventually.
Imagine children learning there are homosexual couples as such young age like it's completely normal, that generation is gonna save the world from all the hate, intolerance, and most importantly, ignorance.

Hmm those movies are mainly for kids. Not to be rude but hopefully not. How do you think kids would react to that?

I think they should just stick to what they have been doing, not saying it wouldnt be nice but really if they never have gay people in disney movies is it really that big of a deal?

I don't even want one cause you just know that they'll make it SUPER cheesy for some parents to like it.
I can imagine however that they'll probably put in some subliminal messages about it in future movies.
I mean, they do that all the time about subjects that are quite controversial for them.

Omg do you literally never want homosexuality/bisexuality to become more accepted?
Some of y'all gays worry me.

Did you read my post?
I'm saying, children are not born thinking homosexuality is abnormal or weird, that's a hate adults/society put in their heads.
If you make them watch two men loving each other in an animated movie at 5, they're gonna be 15 hearing an adult complaining about homosexuality and they're gonna be like "what's your problem? get a life ****ing homophobe".

This. It would most likely be something like the gay guy in Paranorman.
I'd love to see this happen but all y'all know this will NEVER happen in any of our lifetimes. Not even Disney with all their money, power and cultural influence could deal with the insane amount of backlash this would bring worldwide. Disney is not some local animation studio, they're a worldwide corporation and this would spark an outage and undoubtedly boycotts of everything they do from that point on. :doc

what if they were minorities though? that's what really should occur but it'll take time since gays of color already get the ****** end of the stick in media to begin with.

A Disney movie about colored gays? It took them decades to even consider making a mediocre film about a straight black girl. Colored gays are already considered lesser beings. If they did this they would literally be committing corporate suicide.
