Well... I would love that people would talk and write about true talents like Norah Jones or John Mayer or Gavin DeGraw or Josh Kelley here in ATRL .... but it doesn't happen!!
So... ATRL is a pop-culture space where we can all talk about hot spot-artists... ...and so we all talk about pop-sensation artists!!
I agree that that there are a lot of posts about Nelly Furtado, some of them are from me...
... oh well, she's hot, she's totally now and she's the best in the pop-business!! She is unique, yeah she's exotic... and she always had a different style... I mean, her first album was original... and now here comes "Loose", an album with songs that combine so different flavours... I mean, how can you resist to a haunting-fascinating song like "say it right"?? it sounds like nothing heard before. "Maneater" is dark-fresh... Even "all good comes to an end" sounds different for a ballad, and that's why it became such a smash hit... "In God's hands" sounds much more like a typical ballad though.
Nelly Furtado is overrated here in ATRL, as well in many other forums, just because of her music!! She's not a teenager that just appears naked in her videos...she doesn't have "Paris Hilton's stories" in her life... People really like her for her music.
We're fans, we're here... better get used to it!!
