I always see people mentioning WFL's impact like LMFAO didn't make shuffle/EDM the huge trend and "Take Over Control," a song that sounded remarkably similar to WFL's instrumental, which is supposedly what's so "influential" about it, didn't hit the top 40.

I believe it was ten, but its radio play heavily outweighed its sales, like just about every Rihanna single.
