Personally I was reluctant to listen to Artpop... Venus especially put me off a lot. Only songs I like from Artpop are Sexxx Dreams and Applause

Okay first of all, people jumping on OnlyManInTheWorld should remember Gaga's album sales lately and remember that Gaga without her massive fanbase (mostly the gays) that she got when she was very successful would not be anywhere right now.
And i agree - people think that she is a GAY artist, she doesn't really appeal to straight men, i mean she could if she wanted, but she keeps those weird outfits that don't really show any beauty on her and people are not here for that. (yall can ague with this coz i am not straight, but still it doesn't take a genius to notice)

From my observations, I'm getting the idea that Gaga isn't fresh anymore to the GP.

They used her when she was new on the scene and the biggest show around, but a few years into the game there's little to say that hasn't already been said. The GP's attention span is notoriously short.

For the most part it seems that Gaga's intent to stick with her guns (madhouse electropop and surreal fashion), and the GP has moved on to the newest, shiniest thing on the market. We had to know Gaga wouldn't be on top forever (as much as I personally believe she deserves to be).
