The suga mama rumors were never anything more than just that. Suga mama doesnt have the crossover appeal that is necessary for a song to really blow up, so it wasnt seriously considered as a single release. Green Light is the foreign markets single, based on its more euro-sound appeal and the freemasons remix which, like the BL freemasons mix, is expected to be a euro favorite. Euro fans might be able to confirm the video being spun in heavy rotation overseas just as GMB is beginning to pick up here in the US. Following a successful overseas run for Green Light, the US might see it released here too, but no decision has been made either way on that yet. Right now the point of singles more than ever is to promote to album and reinvigorate sales interest...so if a song is strong in the US and one is strong elsewhere, look for bi-lateral releases. Like someone already mentioned, this is not unlike the strategy that has made Nelly Furtados album such a smashing success overseas.
