To show how much she has declined Born This Way sold 185.000 copies in the first week.... this wont even reach half those sales....

This is absolutely huge for western artists but complete under performance for both gaga and Avril! They shouldn't have went in competition with each other!!

Born This Way sold 45k in the first day.
So 18k for ARTPOP is still a big flop.
But consider that Applause was underperformed in Japan...
I'll take 18k.

Great for both
With Gaga, you all should understand that BTW was hyped as **** and was her peak. She'll never sell that
frontloaded
ever again. So stop.

Born This Way is her best selling single ever in Japan, Applause underperformed pretty bad. So it's expected ARTPOP opens with less.
She also hasn't done promo there for a very long time.

Losing? She's the queen of japan lmao
They only need promo! Only need to see her in tv singing IN LIVE.
Gaga losing sales still selling more than your fav in every country of this world. That's why you are so jealous.

Did she promote BTW before release?
Hopefully she goes to Japan soon, the potential is huge there.

She's had zero promo, she's still outselling all other western artists and she's still a flop??
what is wrong with you people
She did promo for BTW prior to it's release in 2011, plus they had the tsunami and she did the bracelet thing which raised her profile massively

Horrible. Both have +50% decrease comparing to thier last album. Only promo and longevity can save them else they will barely be Platinum.
