Then she just shouldn't have went out as Crazy Eyes in the first place. Don't play with someone's lived reality for a night of dress up. Racial drag is about power, the power to define someone's racial identity and then exploit it without the consequences. Something that's a "joke" to you is a profound statement on who owns, controls, and gets to perform the identity of others.

This is so ignorant. How do you want people to get over it when black people are still affected by it to this day? Black people are racially profiled, stereotyped, made fun of, aren't allowed a lot of the opportunities that other races (basically white people) get. Black people are getting stopped and frisked on the streets of NYC BECAUSE OF THEIR RACE. They're missing out on job opportunities BECAUSE OF THEIR RACE.
