This is old. For the record he's only commented on it twice; first in this interview (which is like 2 weeks old now) and again in his Billboard interview. Let's not get the impression he's constantly talking about it.
That said, I have to admit that he's taking it a little too seriously. No other rappers Kendrick name-dropped felt the need to respond and if Drake is as confident in himself as he makes out he wouldn't have responded either.
I don't get the wrong in what Drake is saying. I don't know anything about the back up story except hearing people say Kendrick made a diss track for the whole industry. But I agree with Drake that dissing people just to diss them or for exposure is a stupid move.
Omg Drake STFU all in his feelings in ****, so feminine.
This tbh. There was nothing personal about Kendrick's verse. The point was to bring the best out of his contemporaries IN THE STUDIO. This bitch made response wasn't the idea

It wasn't a diss track, it was one verse and it wasn't even a diss verse.
Drake can be so extra. Just clap back on wax and cut the Mr. Rogers ****. It's hip hop and calling out your competition is a part of the culture. Jay and Nas had one of the nastiest rap battles ever recorded and they're cool today. Get out your feelings bruh.
