To answer the question, I dunno, we'll see...but it would be pretty disappointing for Katy to not top that number in 2 weeks considering she released a teaser for the video and had like 2 weeks of anticipation for it, while Applause only had like one week and a picture..
The Times Square premiere isn't an excuse because of Applause's views, since it got only 4.6M first week views from US out of a total of 29.8M views.
