It's already debuted on radio early due to the leak. The sales tracking period ends in 27 hours (and 9 minutes), and the radio week ends Tuesday night. It's going to debut moderately low and have a big jump, but it's not going to be #1 until about a month from now after BL dies off and "Applause" gets maybe a week.

The song has already premiered on radio. If I'm correct, the debut position on the Hot 100 will be mostly based on airplay (4 days of airplay) and not sales (1 day of sales). It will definitely not debut at #1, especially with how big Blurred Lines is.

I will be shocked if Gaga doesn't debut at #1 the week after because it will be the premiere of the song and the video, and there's a lot of hype behind it.

It'll be a few weeks before Katy gets the #1.

Someone should tweet Capitol/Luke/Katy and tell them that this is such a stupid move. I really think she can debut with 500-550k and this is just gonna mess everything up.

I understand they're trying to get a day's worth of sales instead of most ppl downloading it illegally but it won't even matter tbh. Most fans have an illegal download anyways so it won't make that much a difference because we will buy her songs and as for the general public, the song should gain some steam this weekend so they can get familiarized with it and BAM! #1 on iTunes in less than hour, new digital sales record ect.)

I just heard Roar on 103.5KISSFM Chicago. Katy recorded a world premiere message for every radio station? Oh and she recorded an outro saying "If you liked it then stay tuned to hear it again at the top of every hour" Capitol's promo is so flawless. She sounded too cute.
