I noticed that if I don't get out enough I become a little bit down and lethargic. Just kind of stay active and make sure to get a little bit of sun. Yesss, self-improvement is a good method and focus. Just remember what you're grateful for and how privileged you are

Other than that, a good walk/run always helps out a lot. I think it does something to my hormones that makes my mood better. It's like I'm sweating out the bad energy in my body.
Honestly I know it sounds cheesy, but ever since I found God I've been happy and that was like 6 years ago. Ever since I found God everything makes sense. I get frustrated with life sure, but I'm genuinely happy. This is coming from someone who always didn't believe and God and proudly told people I was an atheist. Anyway I just kept praying and praying everyday, talking to god like if he was in front of my face until I eventually found him.
