Aurora: Recently, a poll was made by Sony to ask gamers most wanted Vita’s J-RPG to get localized, and both Tales titles made it to the top. Could it makes change your mind about localize them ?

Hideo Baba("Tales of" producer): Personally, I really want to localize Vita titles Tales of Hearts R and Tales of Innocence R.
But you know, I’m a game producer, but I’m also a businessman, so I must take count of the business perspectives from the market, and the Vita console do not sell much in American and European countries. It’s necessary that the Vita do better before localizing Tales titles.
For now, there’s not enough Vita on western markets, but if it grow, there will be better possibilities for us to localize the Vita titles. Our podcast now is to promote Tales of Xillia.

If JRPG's start making a comeback, it could be good for Suikoden (bring on the 6th damn it), and I might actually get back into console gaming again. Literally, the only game I play right now is League of Legends.

When I played Star Ocean 3, I was hooked for hours! I couldn't believe it! Is the fourth as good or even better than Til the End of Time?

The characters in SO3 are much better but the overall story and gameplay of SO4 is leagues ahead of SO3. Plus I found it more redeeming playing as all the characters in the 4th unlike the 3rd where I only played as like, 2.

I loved SO3 as well, except for that damn ending. Nothing pisses me off more than that ending.

Agreed. Is it a shame that my favorite part of SO3 was the Item Creation part? I loved that so much! The ending was indeed crap, so I'm definitely hoping when I get SO4 I'll love it... According to what you're saying, I'll definitely love it!

Yesssss get it! Plus, since it's on the PS3, the battles are a lot more hectic and flashy. It's beautiful!

Stan! This game gets such bad flack from hardcore JRPGers but I loved it. I thought it was immersive, and the battle system is one of the best I've played.

How do you feel about the story?

TOS is an amazing game, it's still the TO I've played the most (with Vesperia being very close), but it hasn't aged well IMO, and that little HD-ing won't be enough.

While Vesperia, despite being released 5 years ago in Japan, is still one of the best looking JPRG today.

the last remnant is the only pc jrpg i know, and its not so good compared to console jrpg
