His bubbly electro tracks will sound tacked on in contrast to songs like Blurred Lines. Well received albums typically have some time of sonic consistency. It's important for the identity of an album. JT's has that, but Robin's likely won't.
If Luke did his thing and matched Robin's style...then great! But as demonstrated by that one track already, Luke's work with Robin is simply interchangeable with everything else he's done this year.
