I think they downgraded the high textures due to the new engine to make it fit with the dirt and wet effects a fair trade off if that's the case. But yeah 4>5 in both stages and textures.

4 had so many colorful stages but thanks to ultimate color will be back.
There will be a desert stage i think cause i saw it in a screen cap in the menu screen.

NNNN. Not with that paper hair. But the clothes maybe. Dead or Alive 4 was so fun because the music was way more energetic and the stages were more full of life. Like they had fricken cheetahs, and cars coming at you. And the floors in 5 have a hollow sense that I can't explain.

Yeah the character models and hair was a mess but the clothes and stages were top notch.
5 has very bland stages and **** music thank god we can use our own music now and other music from past games.

+ on Vita was able to use custom music and music from the past DOA games for stages and they moved it over for consoles.

There might be a setting not sure how the vita version went but i am sure we can use the songs long as you import it on your HDD.

I kind of felt this way about 5 in general.

and I'm mad about them axing some important arcade elements too (cute ending videos and interactions with the characters). I know they had a story mode, but for me it just wasn't fleshed out enough. SC5 did this too smh .
