It can comeback. Bring in Shania Twain and J.Lo for the southern and Latina viewers. The Nicki and Mariah fighting in the show backfired. It made the show too much like The XFactor
Terrible that the show is like this but having three black judges didn't help. Most of the winners come from the south. That is why you see so many white guys with a guitar from the south win the show.
throwing away millions to some celebrity judges who most of the time can't even properly do just that.. maybe they should invest that money in building up their country instead.
. Adding insult to injury, Idol made headlines last week when preliminary numbers showed its total viewers for a results show was beaten by a repeat of CBS' The Big Bang Theory.
Jennifer is NEVER coming back. She came, she saw, she conquered and she moved on.
The show is boring as hell this season, what Idol needs to do is have a different panel of judges every week next season, and that's the only way they'll bring back some life into the show.
Mariah didn't need this. I know she regrets doing it.
Do you even believe this? J-Lo was clearly far more appealing than Mariah or Nicki. Both of them are black but neither give them the additional demographic that a black star might; neither of them was well-received like J-Lo; and neither of them has seen even a tiny particle of relevance since joining the show.
J-Lo joined the show, released one of the biggest worldwide hits of the year, the most-viewed female video of all-time, was pretty much universally loved by viewers, and I would assume brought a much more diverse demographic.
Preach.

Jennifer made it clear she is not coming back to Idol. She's too busy with her music, films, touring, fashion, and children.
I think this is the best season they've had in a while, too bad it's tanking. I don't get the appeal of, "The Voice," especially since the show has yet to produce any real commercial talent.

But she's also part of the reason Pia Toscano got eliminated.
And pia got a record deal and flopped boo. She was full, boring with no personality. Her voice>>>but there's tons of good voices. There's a reason why she went home.
And idol is just boring. What makes them think people wanna watch ancient ass songs and dated production anymore? They need to refresh it and get rid off those themes. I don't think they've performed current songs. They try too hard to appeal to an older audience that younger people are just not interested in it.
