"Let's go half on a roooom"....the undisputed QWEEN of the South dropped her 4th album Motor Mouf aka Khia Shamone this year and the world will never be the same. It broke records, sold 20 million copies WW, was nominated for six GRAMMYS, and produced three smash #1 hit singles...including the classic "Half on a Room". Enjoy.
From his highly acclaimed debut album, Channel Orange., Frank Ocean pours his heart and soul into "Bad Religion"...an amazing vocal, lyrical, and expressive account of a broken heart. It doesn't matter who you are, everyone can relate to heartbreak..Frank just does a better job of capturing it into a beautiful song.
"Trust and belieeeeeve me"...Keyshia Cole came back with a vengeance with this new album. She definitely learned from that last flop she had a couple years ago and came back with a HAWT record. This single, in particular, was epic. Her live performances of this were killer too.
"Can I get a reeeeeefill?"....Elle Varner is one beautiful and talented young lady. I saw her live at the Trey Songz concert in Chicago and she was full of personality. Her songwriting is pretty impressive as well. I was so happy when she got her first GRAMMY nomination for this song. "Refill" was an instant hit the first time I heard it. It's so addictive.
Ok I know lyrically this song is garbage but Tyga is still that dude. You can't deny that "Rack City" had a tremendous impact on radio and in the clubs. Everybody and they grandmother was going off to this song earlier in the year. Hopefully Tyga can garner another hit like this.

Ne-Yo — "Let Me Love You (Until You Learn to Love Yourself)"
"Let me love you, until you learn to love yourself"...I've always been a big fan of Ne-Yo as a songwriter, singer, and performer. For a minute, it looked like he fell all the way off after that Libra Flop ablum. But now he's got a big Pop hit on his hands that's actually good! I love the message of this song.
Chris Brown is one unlikeable prick but you can't deny he's one talented dude. His latest album Fortune wasn't his best but it did produce one of his best written records to date. Don't Judge Me is a beautiful, vulnerable, single for the normally obnoxious singer. I loved that it showed a different side to himself that the public isn't particularly used to.
"Yeah I got a f*ckin problem"....4 of the hottest rappers on 1 song at the same damn time. Sure to explode even further next year. ASAP is going places.

J. Cole (feat. Missy Elliott) — "Nobody's Perfect"
"Nobody's perfect, but you're perfect for me"....J.Cole is by far one of the greatest MCs out right now. With Nobody's Perfect, Cole puts his conscious lyrics to use in the best way with Missy singing beautifully as a feature.
