How people seem to think that celebs are supposed to look the way they do in photoshoots or better then 'average' at least, all the time otherwise they are flat out ugly or fat and yet call other people of the same 'standard' in everyday life other adjectives that aren't so harsh or exaggerated. Plus on average, a mag photoshoot will consist of approx 70-120 photos and only the 'best' are selected and even those don't always go down well so people's expectations are too high which leads to unfairness when people fall below them. The same goes for candids or public appearances, more photos are taken then appear and the best are the ones posted even if it's like 1 or 2 out of 8 or 10. Then, for those people who don't generally look like the 'ideal' anyway but try to be in the sphere of the ideals e.g in occupation or image/pics... they just get shot down without a chance because they don't compare.
