I love Katy, and I know most of her fanbase is just trolling with the comparison (though taking it too far), but anyone who honestly, truly believes she's comparable to Michael Jackson...
At best she will be like Mariah Carey - Former Hot 100 Queen who played it safe and is sort of forgotten now. But at least Mariah had more cool factor, a great voice, and a perennial Xmas classic.
