My Take
ADELE: 23
01. New Life | 5:30 |
An upbeat pop/rock track about her new baby. The track features a 45 seconds music box instrumental with subtle electronic sounds in the background. A light acoustic guitar can be heard midway through the intro and flows right into the actual body of the song. The song starts off with a mid tempo first verse before turning into an upbeat track. The bridge of the song consists of dueling guitar and piano solo that continues on all the way to the end of the song.
02. Sway | 3:45 |
This track is a modern take on Swing music .
03. Paint a Smile | 4:05 |
A heartfelt acoustic guitar driven ballad, akin to Brad Paisley's Whiskey Lullaby.
04. This is It
An anthemic lead single. It's Rolling in the Deep meets Fun's We Are Young.
05. London Town | 3:10 |
Another tribute to her hometown but this time it's a catchy mid-tempo track influenced by Motown music. The track features an addicting piano riff accompanied by lush strings.
06. Give You a Bell | 4:00 |
07. Skyfall | 4:46 |
The James Bond theme that you all know and love ;p
08. What's Left of Me | 4:15 |
A heartfelt pop ballad, with subtle organs appearing during the chorus of the song. The acoustic guitar is its main instrument but a piano makes an appearance towards the end of the song. The bridge of the song is accompanied by a weeping violin that intensifies the melancholy nature of the track.
09. A Little Piece of Heaven | 3:30 |
10. Whatever That Means |4:30 |
A very sarcastic song, it's Rumour Has It meets Cold Shoulder meets Shania Twain.
11. Lullaby | 5:10 |
This track samples one of the children's music that Adele wrote during her pregnancy. The sample is barely audible during the intro, however it becomes more audible during the outro as the music fades and only her soft vocals can be heard for a few seconds before fading away. The overall sound is a minimalist mid-tempo folk ballad, with acoustic guitar, xylophones and cello as its main instrument.
Deluxe Edition:
12. Killing Me Softly | 5:00 |
13. Happy to Have You Here | 3:25 |
14. Carry On | 4:20 |
15. I Can't Make You Love Me | 5:30 |
A piano only cover of Bonnie Raitt's classic with a 1 minute piano solo that concludes the song.
-------
I would finish writing a description for each song but I'm too sleepy to function....I'll probably do it later.

DELUXE:
14. Lesbians (ft. Lil Kim)
15. Pop It

Theme: Adele is going back to her roots with this album. It's about her youth in the ghetto of London. She talks about her drug problems and how she regrets having sex with almost every guy in the hood. She even talks about how she used to be a lesbian. Of course she still wants to please the ballad fans with R&B ballads like Need You Now, Therapist and Melt My Heart. Some songs don't have a meaning and are just for fun.
2.- Select first single, reason of it's selection
First single: Need You Now (ft. Jay-Z). It's a radio-friendly R&B song, she wants to start this era succesfully. She also hopes the song will appeal to more people because of the collab. The chorus is also very addictive.

3.Falling Into Infinity
4. The Unexpected
5. No Mercy
6. Last Breathe (ft. Sia)

12.Energy (ft. Calvin Harris)
13. Passion (ft. Shakira)
14. Lights
I want her to make an album of 14 pure quality songs, no deluxe or anything. Just 14 amazing songs.
The first seven songs are very dark (Rated R themed) and will be on the first disc.
Songs 8-14 are very light (LOUD themed) and will be on the second disc.
The turning point of the album will be at 7/8 when there is an eclipse switching from the Dark songs to the Light songs. The cover needs to be super bipolar, half dark half light.
Ugh my life
