Well she's proven herself time and time again as a viable tour act and has never had to scrap dates so Bey.. She appeals to an older audience too and if her schedule allowed it she could easily do a global tour and rake in more then what she did for IAWT

They have mostly the same things going for them, except Bey has a better track record to start with.

Not when one has basically dropped of the face of the earth after the release of Single Ladies. I'm sure the general public didn't even know 4 was an album, whereas Rihanna was consistently in the public's eye with a hit song every couple months. The public would be more revved up to go to a Rihanna concert over a Beyonce concert.

You're making a huge assumption there with the whole thing about the public not knowing that 4 was an album. In that case, the anticipation for a Beyonce tour would be even more anyway.

But she headlined the worlds biggest music festival and showcased new material.. then her album sold 34k within half an hour of being released in the UK..

Oh and songs from this supposed unknown album are still charting & getting radio play
