I'm totally coming for Late Registration and Arular (this one especially) though, they just don't compare to the rest.

Ugh You always **** up the stuff I love. Just please please be nice to Pull Up the People, Gone, Diamonds.., and BUcky Done Gun. You can **** with the rest.

I have a feeling Sleater-Kinney is gonna be torn apart by some members Here
it's a really overwhelmingly abrasive listen the first time

I just finished it, and I agree...
I liked it though kinda. It reminds me of a much more hardcore PJ Harvey with other influences. I'll have to relisten though.

one thing btw, are we rating the released version of Extraordinary Machine? not the Jon Brion version?
btw, I'm having some trouble rating A Short Reprise for Mary Todd
oh wait, I'm supposed to rate One Last Woo-Hoo! for he Pullman too?

It's my second highest, right after Kanye. No song below 7,7. Average for S-K: 8,4. It's a damn good album. Riot grrrl.

Sufjan? If I were you, I totally would give it the lowest score allowed here then.

Okay I've decided, I definitely have to do this. I might start tonight if I have time.

a lot of the interludes in between the songs got low scores, even though I love them in betweeen the songs, that's the problem though

The official released version, of course! I made sure the OP's YouTube links contain the released version of the songs, not the bootleg version.

Don't rate them, I'll update the OP.
Don't rate any skits either. Just to remind y'all.

For EM, I'm voting for the quality of the song itself, having both the Brion and Elizondo versions on my iPod.
Because Elizondo really did a hackjob on some of the album tracks, let's be honest. He BUTCHERED Tymps, but Brion's version is heavenly, so it'll split the difference.

yeah, he really turned some of the songs into jingle music
but I like his Red Red Red a lot more than Jon Brion's

Diamonds and Gone are two of my faves! And I definitely won't be tossing out zeros like I did in the Radiohead rate (and the upcoming Fall 2011 Massacre Rate). All of these albums are good. It's just LR and Arular are more of the 7/10 kinda good while the others are more of the 9/10 kinda good.
Oh and BDG can rot in the pits of the bottom five.
_________
I'm going for a relisten of all the albums now so I should have my scores in by the end of the week. Depending on how much time this takes, it might stop me from destroying Florence's scores in the Fall Rate.
