It is a top 100, but there is 100 other songs that felt like they wanted some love too. Today, we look at 200-151.
In day 1 of the endchart, we have performances from Young Jeezy, BSB, 311, John Reuben, Switchfoot, Mavin and Houston Trio.
It all begins with the top 200 and we kick it off with a sleeper.
200. Rascal Flatts - Feels Like Today [139,330] (-524,310)
This country group makes its first of 2 appearances on the year-end chart. Feels Like Today was a bubblin under all run long,
but the airplay it got was good enough for a #200 showing.
IDRL SPECIAL MEGATON CHART:17 weeks, #256 peak (out of 1000)
199. Kids In The Way - Phoenix With A Heartache [146,399] (-517,241)
Their first appearance ever on the IDRL endchart. Hit a stride when it reached the midsection of the MWC Top 100, but sank
just weeks later to the bottom of the pack.
ISMC:14 weeks, #249
198. Cassie Steele - Broken [153,209] (-510,431)
How much for happy you say? The first of 3 appearances for Cassie and Broken did very little damage. However, she really did
make her presence felt with her cd.
ISMC:5 weeks, #105
197. Nicki Foxx - Can't Lose Control [163,630] (-500,010)
This did retire after 30 days and a #16 peak. Did very little damage elsewhere, but she will probably strike back in 2006.
ISMC:5 weeks, #103
196. Christina Milian - Suga Cane [175,345] (-489,295)
Same with #197. This is one of many from Christina this year (3 on the endchart to be exact). While Cryin was just short at
#202, Suga Cane started the Christina Milian revolution in 2005 and this did what it could until Believer came out.
ISMC:5 weeks, #102
LIVE PERFORMANCE:Young Jeezy Featuring Akon - Soul Survivor
195. Melanie C - Better Alone [191,430] (-473,210)
Minor hit for Melanie C as she logs in 2 more songs on the chart for this year's endshow. This is the 4th time in 6 years in
which she has had at least 1 song make the endchart. So-so stats and ok airplay kept it going.
ISMC:8 weeks, #114
194. Geri Halliwell - Ride It [207,719] (-456,921)
Had a short stay on the charts, but when she made her appearance...she was ready. Decent airplay and rough stats otherwise.
Still, this is Geri's first endchart appearance since 1999 when Look At Me was #16 for 1999.
ISMC:14 weeks, #200
193. Will Smith - Switch [211,430] (-453,210)
SWITCH! The dance that Will does is not good enough for a stronger showing. Decent stats all-around and like Geri, it's his
first endchart appearance in a while since back in 2002-2003 with Black Suits Comin which finishing position is unknown.
ISMC:32 weeks, #431
192. Rob Thomas - This Is How A Heart Breaks [214,641] (-449,999)
Surprisingly lower than projected, but it was able to score decent stats on MWC finishing in the top 100 there at #86 in pts.
total. Not a good spot he thinks.
ISMC:15 weeks, #176
191. Jermaine Dupri - Gotta Getcha [216,390] (-448,250)
Probably the biggest surprise of the year in rap. This is only the third time in 9 years that Jermaine has appeared on an
endchart in the IDRL.
ISMC:15 weeks, #175
Beyonce visits and talks about her new video Check On It.
PREMIERE:The song just mentioned.
Lloyd drops by to talk about his next project and when his 2nd album will be finished.
190. Cori Yarckin - Better [218,624] (-446,016)
Sometimes you get stronger when you have more songs in contention. Cori has about 6 in the top 200 and Better leads off. With
a peak of #7 on MWC and solid stats there, Cori was a threat to #1.
ISMC:13 weeks, #143
189. Teairra Mari - Make Her Feel Good [219,425] (-445,215)
Not a good run except for IDRL. One of the underappreciated artists in 2005 who were overshadowed by names like 50 Cent and
those who well....you know. Peaked at #11 in the summer and couldn't do much damage.
ISMC:14 weeks, #149
188. Eminem - Like Toy Soldiers [221,230] (-443,410)
Unavailable.
ISMC:1 week, #95
PERFORMANCE:311 - All Mixed Up / Amber / Creatures (For A While) (medley)
187. Jesse McCartney - She's No You [228,726] (-435,914)
The follow-up to the retired Beautiful Soul. The remix of this song (why there was one, I don't know) cost it a lot of wmp
and airplay. Decent stats do keep this on the top 200.
ISMC:16 weeks, #160
186. Avril Lavigne - Nobody's Home [238,709] (-425,931)
As Avril's songs continue to chart, they progressively get weaker and weaker in stats. This is one of two from her on the
endchart, but she tremendously disappointed since her 2002 run.
ISMC:16 weeks, #135
185. Bon Jovi - Have A Nice Day [270,319] (-394,321)
One of the top ten surprises of 2005. Decent stats, but retired fairly easily after hitting #2 on IDRL. Top 100 on MWC pts at
#71. Their first endchart showing since 2003's Misunderstood.
ISMC:24 weeks, #124
184. Backstreet Boys - Incomplete *live* [274,709] (-389,931)
Even with 2 days at #1 and a #4 showing on MWC, the song did not generate any airplay or request factor and got hardly any
WMP factor support. Still, this is their first endchart showing since way back in 2000.
ISMC:15 weeks, #99
183. Rachel Farris - You Think [282,430] (-385,210)
Since Rachel made her debut, she's generated lots of IDRL stats. You Think mainly generated WMP support and airplay. One of
many from her.
ISMC:19 weeks, #105
182. Amerie - Talkin About [289,141] (-378,499)
Amerie generates one of three-four appearances on the endchart. This song was never really a contender though...it did leave
its mark for Touch and One Thing.
ISMC:3 weeks, #95
PERFORMANCE:Switchfoot - Stars
181. Girls Aloud - The Show [290,715] (-376,925)
They make a couple of appearances (4 to be exact) in the top 200. The Show is the first here and while it had a short stay on
IDRL, they did get good airplay and solid request factor.
ISMC:19 weeks, #94
180. Sugababes - Too Lost In You [293,319] (-374,321)
They are about as dangerous as you can imagine. They make their 2005 endchart showing at #180 after finishing #7 for 2004,
but a major portion of that run was back in 2004. They got many left.
ISMC:17 weeks, #65
179. Kylie Minogue - Giving You Up [297,181] (-370,459)
Kylie appears on the endchart for the 4th straight year with Giving You Up, finishing #179. Her last non-appearance on the
endchart was back in 2001.
ISMC:17 weeks, #64
178. Kelly Clarkson - Hear Me [299,325] (-368,315)
Kelly's got a record-breaking 10+ appearances on the 2005 endchart top 200 and a nice portion of them in the top 100. This is
her lowest t200 apearance with Hear Me at #187. Still, Kelly's so dangerous this year...she was voted as IDRL's 2005 Best
Chart Performer.
ISMC:20 weeks, #92
177. Gwen Stefani - Luxurious [300,481] (-367,159)
Nobody saw this coming after all that Gwen went through. Although she does make 2 endchart appearances, she was named IDRL's
Biggest Disappointment of 2005. This well, got the airplay it needed to be here.
ISMC:25 weeks, #176
PERFORMANCE:Mavin - American Dragon
176. Nightwish - Wish I Had An Angel [301,536] (-366,104)
They had the #81 song of 2004 and now end up with #176 on the 2005 chart. Dismal MWC stats and WMP support but IDRL stats
were really the key to its run.
ISMC:22 weeks, #92
175. Atreyu - Right Side Of The Bed [302,489] (-365,151)
Not many metal songs made the countdown in 2005, but this was one of them. This is Atreyu's first ever endchart appearance at
#175 with Right Side Of The Bed. Solid IDRL stats.
ISMC:16 weeks, #55
174. Santana / Michelle Branch - I'm Feeling You [303,281] (-364,359)
Michelle's frustration continues as you might have heard. Such a pitiful showing on the endchart to end up #174 for 2005. It
is a huge drop from her 2001-2003 days.
ISMC:17 weeks, #56
173. Trapt - Stand Up [322,330] (-345,310)
This band snuck into the endchart 200 for 2005 at #173 with good airplay and request factor. Decent MWC stats and pitiful in
IDRL though.
ISMC:15 weeks, #48
3LW visits to chat a bit about their future and past.
172. Avenged Sevenfold - Burn It Down [327,209] (-340,431)
This had MWC support on its side and peaked #45 there as well as #20 on IDRL. Good run though despite their short stay.
ISMC:15 weeks, #52
171. Raven - Backflip [327,290] (-340,350)
Backflip appeared just outside the top 100 in the 2004 endchart and winds up #171 for 2005. The airplay was its help it had
needed to ensure her another retired song.
ISMC:15 weeks, #55
170. Natalie - You're The One [327,625] (-340,015)
169. Natalie & Justin Roman - Where Are You [327,626] (-340,014)
Unavailable.
ISMC:16 weeks, #59 for both
168. Disturbed - Guarded [330,961] (-336,679)
Guard Disturbed from the top and you will get burned. This band makes their first endchart showing since 2003's Remember. No
way this song could match Remember's success, especially since that debuted at #1. Still, Guarded had a decent run.
ISMC:14 weeks, #43
167. Ashanti - Baby [334,080] (-333,560)
4 years now this song has been on an endchart of the IDRL. It now nets #167 on the top 200 of 2005 due to consistent airplay,
WMP and request factor.
ISMC:Since it was out in 2002-2003, stats are unavailable.
166. Destiny's Child - Cater 2 U [335,188] (-332,452)
Their final endchart appearance ever. As Stand Up For Love was #993 for 2005 and Girl wound up #895, Cater 2 U finished #166
for 2005 as their group effort is over. Nice way to go out...? Consider that they never got the success they once had.
ISMC:8 weeks, #25
PERFORMANCE:John Reuben - Nuisance #203 for 2005. Nice job John R.
165. Rachel Farris - I Guess This Is Love [335,640] (-332,000)
I guess Rachel got the beans. This was actually her first retired song ever after peaking #3 in 2003-2004. Decent MWC stats,
but had solid airplay and good request factor. The people want new stuff from her ASAP.
ISMC:36 weeks, #165 *currently #695*
164. Click 5 - Catch Your Wave [346,219] (-321,421)
Catch your wave with this group making 2 appearances on the year-end chart. People expect Just The Girl to finish top 50 for
2005 with the impact it had. CYW did some decent damage, but it's not well into its run yet. Still, C5 are tough to beat with
good airplay so far.
ISMC:8 weeks, #24 *currently #24*
163. Good Charlotte - We Believe [347,640] (-320,000)
Despite being a short-comer, GC did plenty of damage on WMP format with good stats. All other stats can be a little bit more
desired.
ISMC:19 weeks, #69 *currently #994*
162. Ryan Cabrera - 40 Kinds Of Sadness [348,087] (-319,553)
Unavailable.
ISMC:19 weeks, #79
161. U2 - Vertigo [350,385] (-317,255)
Pressure of U2 has been imminent. After winding up a dismal #109 for 2004, they wind up a whimsical #161 for 2005. Not very
good stats, but held on tough. Duh, they are freakin' U2!
ISMC:24 weeks, #74
HOUSTON PERFORMANCE TRIO SPECIAL:I Ain't Heard Of That / Back Then / Sittin Sidewayz (group-Still Tippin)
160. Ashlee Simpson - Lala [351,495] (-316,145)
Spent a good deal of its run in 2004 and was her 3rd retired video. This was her most successful until Boyfriend came out and
I don't need to go into detail about that. Lala enjoyed a great run on WMP, airplay and request factor.
ISMC:47 weeks, #98 *currently #458*
159. Black Eyed Peas - Don't Phunk With My Heart [351,678] (-315,962)
Never made it to IDRL, but however it showed its skill, you can tell BEP is prepared for a wild run in 2006 with Pump It and
Like That waiting in the wings along with Gone Going. Anwyay, DPWMH was #12 (I think) on VH1's top 40 of 2005 and is #159 on
IDRL 2005 endchart. However, since it never debuted on IDRL..it is a huge accomplishment it's this high.
ISMC:15 weeks, #46
158. Jennifer Lopez - Get Right [353,398] (-314,242)
Probably IDRL's biggest disappointment of 2005 next to Gwen Stefani. Jennifer had a bigger dropoff than the rest. While the
remix hit #1 twice, the original could not pass #5. Since the remix and original are the same in endchart play, Get Right is
#158 for 2005.
ISMC:8 weeks, #56 for original. 24 weeks, #49 for remix.
157. Christina Milian - Ain't No Reason [355,963] (-311,677)
Still unavailable.
ISMC:20 weeks, #70
156. Natalie & Russell Lee - Something About You [357,181] (-310,459)
Russell makes his IDRL endchart entry, while Natalie continues her midst of 7 appearances. Solid run everywhere as well.
ISMC:20 weeks, #66
155. Ciara - And I [357,215] (-310,425)
Ciara is frustrated, for good reason too. And I could not match the success of Ci's 3 previous videos, but the stats there
were somewhat decent. Poor girl. ![:(](http://www.atrl.net/forums/images/smilies/images/smilies/frown.gif)
ISMC:2 weeks, #32 [was here because it was the most requested song according to IDRL's urban audience for non-singles]
154. Jojo - Not That Kinda Girl [357,530] (-310,110)
Jojo isn't too upset at how well she did. Really no MWC support and WMP wasn't really a big factor, but she had a good run on
IDRL and she did just fine.
ISMC:22 weeks, #66
153. Sum 41 - Pieces [357,535] (-310,105)
More like a sap of a run, could not generate any airplay and never got on the good side of anything. Little airplay all over
the place, but you can imagine that they did the best they could. Decent.
ISMC:41 weeks, #89
152. Coldplay - Fix You [366,427] (-301,213)
20 days on IDRL with a top 20 showing, Coldplay did infact stay steady and was not afraid to stay tough. They have another
coming up on the chart.
ISMC:14 weeks, #76
151. Cori Yarckin - I Need It Now [367,099] (-300,541)
Cori's still got many left but this may be her most notable song to chart. Decent IDRL stats, great WMP run and nice airplay
makes this song one of the best for 2005 at #151.

150. U2 - City Of Blinding Lights (-299,596)
See #144.
149. Mariah Carey - Shake It Off (-299,155)
Our artist of the year according to billboard is likely Mimi, and she shows no mercy with 3 showings on the top 200. SIO really underperformed with a #40 peak on MWC and a #21 peak on IDRL, but airplay was in its favor.
148. Simple Plan - Crazy (-286,992)
The darkhorse of 2005 with the 2nd of 3 appearances on the top 200. Can Untitled become their top 100 spot this year? Crazy did something bad, with iffy stats.
147. My Chemical Romance - Helena (-284,001)
Made good use of its late entry with a surprising run that hit #1 once and showed lots of skill. Their first ever on the endchart.
146. Lindsay Lohan - I Decide (-281,591)
The first of 6 Lindsay songs. Nobody imagined this would be a hit, they were right. Not good in stats, decent airplay puts it here.
145. Underoath - Reinventing Your Exit (-277,449)
One of the stronger christian songs on IDRL. Creeping by with good airplay and some solid request factor keeps it higher than expected.
144. Lindsay Lohan - Speak / Disconnected (-277,001)
The unknown power of this song, iffy stats.
143. Frankie J - Obsession (-276,921)
Frankie J wanted the credit for himself and he got game. Good stats and was able to retire, becoming his first to retire.
142. Kimberly Locke - Wrong (-275,924)
Continuing to show great WMP support long after retiring on IDRL, she shows everyone who is dangerous.
141. Green Day - American Idiot (-272,416)
Four top 200 showings for this group, all from American Idiot cd. The title track smacked in a top 20 finish in the 2004 endchart and doesn't disappoint now. The cd spawned 8 total days at #1 for the 4 songs.
140. Evanescence - Everybody's Fool (-272,415)
After being #22 in 2004's endchart, they show up here at #140 with alright endstats.
139. Relient K - Be My Escape (-270,002)
Disappointing 2nd single and this was also a disappointment as it couldn't pass into the top 20. Weak stats despite showing some airplay somewhere.
138. Sugababes - Stronger (-266,159)
This was on the 2003 endchart at #9, but somehow winds up #138 for 2005 due to great WMP support and MWC stats. This is only the first of 6 songs from them here.
137. Kanye West - Diamonds (From Sierra Leone) (-263,591)
Kinda underrated with the hype that is Golddigger, but Diamonds indeed held its own during its brief stay. Pretty good stats but kinda disappointing nonetheless.
136. Shakira Featuring Alejandro Sanz - La Tortura (-261,414)
One of two spanish songs to make it this year. First of 2 from Shakira though as this latina showed everyone she can shake it around. Solid stats everywhere.
135. Rachel Stevens - I Said Never Again (But Here We Are) (-259,355)
Pressure's on for Rachel's 3 showings on the 2005 endchart. She never did well otherwise and couldn't get on the 2004 chart's endchart recap. Decent stats.
134. Cassie Steele - Drink Me Dry (-257,201)
Cassie's first of three on top 200. Degrassi's star has gone the distance with her antics and sirenic voice. She had good stats overall.
133. Rascal Flatts - Bless The Broken Road (-254,001)
Nobody imagined this would open the door to Don't Cha's dominance. Unthinkably, this is their first of two appearances on the endchart, first time to happen for a country group ever. Good stats in IDRL and MWC made this a threat.
132. Ricky Martin Featuring Amerie & Fat Joe - I Don't Care (-253,157)
Ricky's return wasn't spectacular with a #14 peak on IDRL and wimpy MWC stats. However, the impact it had was great as it was his first to chart since 2001's Loaded. For Fat Joe, it's his only appearance while it's Amerie's first of four.
131. Hilary Duff - Fly (-252,019)
Just 3 appearances total for Hilary, but she has a strong shot of finishing in the top 10. This one doesn't, but did finish #45 for 2004.
130. Lindsay Lohan - Rumors (-251,942)
After being outside top 50 for 2004 endchart, she winds up #130 here. Hit #1 like once or twice but she was definitely in it till the end. Nice work Lindsay.
129. Bonnie McKee - January (-250,100)
Four appearances for Bonnie on the top 200, what she thinks is not easy. She is a contender to win the #1 song of 2005. Will she do it? This one had the WMP going for her.
128. Cori Yarckin - Tricks Up My Sleeve (-245,569)
Cori has 6 appearances in the top 200, but only 2 in the top 100. She hasn't been a big IDRL contender, but her MWC stats for this are pretty remarkable....well, almost.
127. Natalie - Stay (-245,340)
Natalie has 7 appearances on the top 200 including this slow jam. Nobody expected her to make it this far, but she held her own against some of the best in the world. Nice all-around stats despite not much of anything.
126. Rachel Farris - So Good (-245,158)
What you think of is not as easy as it seems. Rachel has 5 appearances other than this one and she will tell you her run is bumpier than ever. Decent all-around performer.
125. Chris Brown - Run It (-244,015)
Running out of luck as he won't make the final 100. Only IDRL stats helped as this song got overplayed and never really got anything going elsewhere.
124. Kelly Clarkson - I Hate Myself For Losing You (-243,249)
This is one of 10 appearances for her. WMP was all that helped her, but an ok standpoint in non-IDRL/MWC. Still, she is IDRL 2005 Artist Of The Year.
123. Weezer - We Are All On Drugs (-243,100)
One of two appearances from them. Solid WMP stats but 'less than thrilling' otherwise. Was a contender for #1 but sunk.
122. System Of A Down - B.Y.O.B. (-236,792)
Not a whole lot of love for the band they call 'wackzilla'. Decent stats in IDRL/MWC but bad elsewhere. Their only showing.
121. Avril Lavigne - Fall To Pieces (-236,000)
Avril's frustrations on IDRL continue to mount as she slides in with her one of two showings on top 200. Solid MWC stats are all that got her going for this non-video single.
120. R. Kelly - Trapped In The Closet (-235,438)
Solid stats considering the run it had. Not great, but definitely was a contender from start to finish. This is his only appearance in the 2005 endchart for this epic video.
119. Daniel Bedingfield - Wrap My Words Around You (-234,951)
The Bedingfield contingent has 4 songs in the top 200. 1 from him, 3 from Natasha. Ok stats.
118. Hawthorne Heights - Ohio Is For Lovers (-234,944)
One of two from them. Solid MWC stats, but horrid IDRL stats despite 2 days on top.
117. Kelly Clarkson - Walk Away (-234,941)
This is one of 10 appearances in the top 200 for Kelly. She has 5 songs in contention for #1 right now, actually 1 when you think of it now with Behind These Hazel Eyes. Decent stats but MWC really helped.
116. Gwen Stefani - Cool (-234,121)
This is Gwen's one of two appearances. A frustrating year for her indeed with a #110 showing on the endchart in 2004, but you can bet that she will return with a bang soon. Not good stats except for IDRL/MWC.
115. Stacie Orrico - I Could Be The One (-230,092)
This is Stacie's only appearance despite no new single in 2005. Stacie broke through the pack in 2003 and 2004 with finishes of #3 for MTL in 2003 and #6 for I Promise in 2004. This also finished around #92 for 2004.
114. Anna Nalick - Wreck Of The Day (-225,577)
Wrecking around with 3 total top 200 appearances is Anna Nalick's title cut. If Anna can stay relaxed, she can possibly end 2005 with a strong finish. Decent MWC stats, no IDRL stronghold and bad elsewhere.
113. Lindsay Lohan - Over (-224,435)
A disappointing showing on the endchart and failure to hit #1 could cost this a spot on the 8-year anniversary chart. Over did hit a little stride with decent stats all-around. This is her 4th of 6 songs on the top 200.
112. Within Temptation - Angels (-224,301)
With two appearances on the chart, Sharon and the boys of WT made a statement with decent MWC and WMP stats. Angels spent a few days in the top 40, but definitely more than held its own during its short stay on IDRL.
111. Delta Goodrem / Brian McFadden - Almost Here (-219,525)
When you put it in words, Delta is a hard opponent to beat on the countdown. In only 1 week, it has moved into #111 for the year. This is Delta's first of three while it's Brian's only one.
110. Cori Yarckin - How The World Goes Around / Gratitude (-215,621)
4th appearance from her. She knows what she's doing with her run. Good airplay, WMP, stats all-around.
109. Marion Ravn - End Of Me (-209,458)
First of two from ex-M2M singer. So-so stats compared to Break You, this song never really could compete with it. Decent run though.
108. Project 86 - The Spy Hunter (-204,210)
See #109 except that this is their only appearance.
107. Angel - Just The Way I Am (-202,051)
First of 3 from Angel. This was #4 for 2004, just missing the #1 spot for the year by a few points. Great run wrapping up with 21@1 on IDRL. Lower though because the majority of its run was in 2004.
106. Emma Bunton - Maybe / Falling Up - Escalates / Bethany Dillon - Beautiful (-200,004)
These three actually tied for #106 so they all get it.
105. Sugababes - Caught In A Moment (-194,329)
Same with #107. Opened strong, but folded late. This finished #40 for 2004 because of that start. Good stats though.
104. Kelly Clarkson - You Found Me (-190,143)
Close to breaking the record for most top 100 appearances, but instead she ties it. This is just her 4th of 10 so far in the top 200, and did good for obvious reasons. Walk Away was #201, Where Is Your Heart was #234.
103. Green Day - Holiday (-189,325)
This means they have 2 showings in the top 100 with this. Good run, but never got to the top spot. They got denied most often in their run.
102. Madonna - Hung Up (-186,331)
Got burned from the top 100, but still a fairly recent song so no harm done. Good run so far.
101. Keith Urban - You'll Think Of Me (-184,310)
He did set the bar high for country music in 2005 as they came out strong. Two country songs are in the top 100.

And now, 100-91. Judge for yourself.
100. Black Eyed Peas - Don't Lie [479,321] (-184,309)
They narrowly make the top 100 on the endchart this year. Good run for them, even though their last single was horrible.
99. Natasha Bedingfield - I Bruise Easily [480,100] (-183,530)
Squeaks in the top 100 at the last moment. Hit #1 once, but left the door open for These Words to make its mark. I liked it, but I wished it was a single.
98. Mariah Carey - It's Like That [480,314] (-183,316)
Decent end, was able to hit #1 midway in its run. Ok then, moving on. Grew old once it hit top 10 on hot 100.
97. Hayden Panettiere - I Fly [481,114] (-182,516)
Solid early on. It did have a very bumpy road late in its run so it couldn't pass #8 on IDRL. Still, she has 1 of 2 top 100 showings.
96. Alanis Morrisette - Crazy [483,567] (-180,063)
A nice run so far as the impact sends it flying. People wanna hear this song, personally I do too.
95. Three 6 Mafia - Stay Fly [486,567] (-177,063)
See #96. Their first to chart ever in IDRL.
94. Bonnie McKee - Marble Steps [489,999] (-173,631)
See #97. Had a good and consistent run from start to finish. Kinda addicting if you listen to it enough.
93. Ludacris - Number #1 Spot [505,999] (-157,631)
Georgia's on his mind as this Austin Powers vibe video gave him his first #1 ever. That's the highlight of this song.
92. Cori Yarckin - Everything You Said [527,100] (-136,530)
Everything she said is remarkable as she remains a contender. This hit the top 10 but that's the best of it. Great run for all she had to work with.
91. Shakira - Don't Bother [546,100] (-117,530)
Not a good top showing for her compared to 2001-2003. She feels miserable at her bad showing, but she had tough competition. Good run so far with a #4 peak. Another notable at #91 is Shine On by Ryan Cabrera.
Go ahead and comment.
A couple of appearances from a pop group, the artist with the #1 billboard song of 2005, a bunch of dance songs and Green Day up now.
90. Girls Aloud - Long Hot Summer [560,000] (-103,630)
Disappointing run for some reason. Never got anything going, but was able to hit top 5. Still, good year for Girls Aloud. I was never a big fan of this song and I have no idea why I downloaded it to one of my CD-Rs.
89. Mariah Carey - We Belong Together [560,001] (-103,629)
The fact of being overplayed hurts....a lot. The most popular song of 2005 according to Billboard so far, ends up #89. At one point, she was #9 but she lost a lot of power and dropped 80 spots. This is a disappointment despite hitting #1 once. In this case when billboard's top song of 2005 is this low, you know we got a lot of action ahead.
88. Natalie - Better Get It Right [577,777] (-85,853)
This song features Max Minelli. She still has her 2 hit singles left to be spotted. Her lowest song overall is #269 with Me Faltas Tu, 10 spots behind Ooh. A #88 notable is Life After You by Brie Larson.
87. Missy Elliott Featuring Ciara - Lose Control [579,777] (-83,853)
The hype got Missy so close to #1 on IDRL/MWC, but denied. Also disappointing because she had a good shot in topping the list this year.
86. Amerie Featuring T.I. - Touch [629,777] (-33,853)
When you're expected to finish strong by debuting #1, you don't follow up by quickly falling off. She was able to retire, but really choked in its run.
85. Green Day - Wake Me Up When September Ends [629,778] (-33,852)
See #86. However, this was consistent in its run.
84. Ciara Featuring Ludacris - Oh [630,000] (-33,630)
Like WBT, at one point it was #8 but found its way as low as #91. Oh did a get jump in the last moment to finish #84, but she is obviously disappointed after having Goodies finish #10 for 2004.
83. Garbage - Why Do You Love Me [630,100] (-33,530)
Not having much to work with, they hit #1 twice and held its own after they've been gone for a short time. Good run on IDRL & MWC.
82. Girls Aloud - I'll Stand By You [630,432] (-33,298)
Solid run for the short time it had. Maxed at #2. Still good with the sweetness in it.
81. Rihanna - If It's Loving That You Want [630,460] (-33,270)
Surprising that this is higher than predicted. This is her 2nd to top IDRL and definitely has been a threat to the opposition in 2005. Still one more from her.
Coming up....a couple of appearances from Ashanti including one you would never expect and can only find it on my playlist, a few surprises from INXS, Aly & A.J. and Utada. Plus, more Kelly and Natalie on the way. Don't miss out.

A couple of surprises in this next set, so be surprised when you see what's coming up.
80. Natalie Featuring Baby Bash - Energy [631,000] (-32,730)
A nice run with a bumpy ending, never topping the chart. Poor Natalie, well she has one more song left.
79. Aly & A.J. (Alyson & Amanda Joy Mishacka) - Do You Believe In Magic? [632,800] (-30,930)
Surprising run that hit #2. Fellow Disney star Christy Carlson Romano is a #79 notable with Dive In.
78. INXS - Pretty Vegas [640,001] (-23,929)
Led by Rockstar winner JD Fortune, INXS's comeback single has the biggest impact of 2005 as they definitely make their mark, hitting #1 twice in their run.
77. Ashanti - Don't Let Them [640,003] (-23,927)
Disappointing year when it comes to her song count, but she could not do anything about it. Don't Let Them hit #1 twice, but this obviously struggled till the end when it retired. A notable is Don't Leave Me Alone, sharing #77 honors.
76. Mario - Here I Go Again [640,005] (-23,925)
Biggest surprise for a male artist in 2005, Mario makes the crowd go crazy as he hit #1 and retired. Nice work Mario. Another notable is Usher - Caught Up which retired easily.
75. Utada Hikaru - Easy Breezy [640,009] (-23,921)
See #82...mwc-wise.
74. Click 5 - Just The Girl [640,010] (-23,920)
Guess who got the girl? They did! Click 5 had a good run and definitely showed us who they were dealing with. Nice showing on MWC/WMP.
73. Kelly Clarkson - Breakaway [640,014] (-23,916)
The impact of Breakaway will last for years. This song peaked at #1 20 times and finished #5 for 2004, right ahead of Stacie Orrico's I Promise and behind Angel's Just The Way I Am. Kelly's run was mostly in 2004, but the impact will last forever.
72. Ashanti & Rachel Farris - Only It's All You Remix [640,015] (-23,915) [surprise of 2005]
I used Audacity to make this, and it winds up #72 for 2005.
71. Bonnie McKee - Trouble [640,200] (-23,730)
Bonnie's 3rd of 4 top 200 showings. Only Somebody remains and Trouble mirrored Marble Steps in all but MWC.
Coming up next time, we have a mixed bag. From rock to pop to dance to international flavor....thrown in with a song you'll only find on someone's website.

It has been a wild year, especially when we show these next songs.
70. Hilary Duff - Beat Of My Heart [641,200] (-22,730)
Hilary's 2nd of 3 top 200 showings. Still going strong, being the 6th biggest impact of 2005.
69. Rachel Farris - Now We Know [641,200] (-22,730)
Same with #70, but longer run is more focused on. Where is her new video!?
68. Sugababes - Push The Button [641,210] (-22,720)
Their 2nd most successful song of 2005, but they're focused on having a 3rd straight year of having a song finish top 10. It is doubtful since they didn't have a #1 showing at all in 2005. Notables here include Inside Your Heaven and Superfabulous.
67. Jasmine Trias - Flying Home [642,001] (-21,829)
The song that got her to #67 is Flying Home, not Excuses. Good run, but couldn't stay tough.
66. Brie Larson - She Said [642,320] (-21,510)
See #67.
65. Sean Paul - We Be Burning [642,320] (-21,510)
Higher due to better run. Hit #1 3 times. Defintiely makes up for a tough 2004.
64. Vanilla Ninja - Cool Vibes [642,504] (-21,326)
Good run as well. Their first ever to chart and left the door open to hit #1 for I Know.
63. Anberlin - Readyfuels [642,505] (-21,325)
See #66. Shocking that it did well considering it was actually a 2003 single.
62. Cori Yarckin - Dirty Water [643,007] (-20,823)
Also a good run so far, hit #4 and still going tough. This is her highest showing for 2005 endchart.
61. Pussycat Dolls - Stickwitu [643,035] (-20,795)
Their first of 2 led by Nicole, formerly of Eden's Crush. High due to 9@1 so far. Notable is Rob Thomas - Lonely No More.
Coming in 60-51, we have another mixed bag of talent including Christina, Amerie, Rachel and Kelly.
60. Christina Milian - Miss You Like Crazy [643,036] (-20,794)
Great run. This was #17 for 2004, but like Breakaway, spent most of it's time last year.
59. Melanie C - Next Best Superstar [643,540] (-20,290)
See #63.
58. Christina Milian - Dip It Low [643,201] (-20,629)
Same with MYLC, Breakaway and JTWIA. This spent most of its run in 2004, but racked up 56@1, the 3rd most@#1 in IDRL history. This was #2 for 2004.
57. Annaliese Van Der Pol - Over It [643,400] (-20,430)
Her only song so far finishes the year at #57, nice run for her. Raven ends up losing to her best friend on their show.
56. Amerie - 1 Thing [645,992] (-17,838)
At one point, it was #6 for 2005. This was also top 5 in the midyear, but lost lots of ground and ends up the #56 song of the year. Not bad though, but she isn't too happy after hitting more than 12 days on top.
55. Angel - Beyond The Wall [645,999] (-17,831)
Dangerously close to making the top 50 for 2005, but Three Small Words has a great shot in doing so. This retired easily with very nice MWC/IDRL stats.
54. Marion Ravn - Break You [646,140] (-17,690)
Not a strong finish, but did ok. Hit #1 and retired easily.
53. Kelly Clarkson - Addicted [647,140] (-16,690)
Believe it or not, this is her first showing in the top 100 of the endchart this year. Retired strong with a top 5 showing on IDRL & MWC. 2006 seems to have her name in victory label.
52. Rachel Stevens - So Good [647,925] (-15,905)
Bumpy ride for Rachel as this is her first of 2 top 100 appearances. Had an ok run with trouble at every corner.
51. Rachel Farris - Don't Want To Be Here [647,929] (-15,901)
So close to finishing top 50. Where is her new video!? This song hit #1 8 times.
Coming in 50-41, there are 4 rock groups in the mix along with last year's #1 song as well as a few bags of mixed talent.
50. Rihanna - Pon De Replay [647,999] (-15,831)
The pressure's on Rihanna to follow up in 2006 with a strong song. Will that match Pon De Replay's success? I say no, she might be a 2-hit wonder.
49. Within Temptation - Memories [650,999] (-12,831)
Same as #50. Very sweet song.
48. Jasmine Trias - Excuses [653,999] (-9,831)
Same as #49. More underrated than you think, if you know what I mean.
47. Kelly Clarkson - Since You've Been Gone [655,200] (-8,630)
The stats won't tell you this was the song that made her a huge superstar on pop and trl. This however never hit #1 shocking enough. Good run though. She still has a few left to go, surprisingly enough.
46. Foo Fighters - Best Of You [655,992] (-7,638)
See #47 but without the first sentence and it hit #1 once on IDRL. This is more like one of the surprising songs in 2005.
45. Weezer - Beverly Hills [655,992] (-7,638)
Higher due to better run. Hit #1 5 times. Though it was #11 on midyear, there were some strong songs in half #2 and just imploded late.
44. Rachel Farris - It's All You [656,014] (-7,616)
3rd straight year this has finished top 50. It was #16 in 2003, #1 in 2004 and now #44 in 2005. Though it was never on this year on IDRL, the impact will last for ages....even after I'm long gone. Will it be on for 2006?
43. Green Day - Boulevard Of Broken Dreams [656,034] (-7,596)
This was #90 for 2004, moves to #43 for 2005. 6@1 for this song, but disappointed nonetheless. Should've been top 10 for the year, but terrible MWC stats caused it to be much lower.
42. Leann Rimes - You Take Me Home [656,056] (-7,574)
Surprising run that hit #1 and retired without problem. She performed on American Dream Derby with this song. Great IDRL/MWC and WMP stats. Amazingly enough, there's one more country song higher ranked than this.
41. Rachel Farris - Beautiful [658,056] (-5,574)
Her highest showing in 2005. Hit #1, but that's all we can say. Good run after having a few days on in 2003-2004. Very slow-moving song.
Coming in 40-31, we have 2 songs from one band, a couple of female stars as well as one of the best dance songs of the year.
40. Full Blown Rose - In The Light [659,147] (-4,483)
Their first of 2. ITL hit #1 once, 100 days total. Very good MWC stats to go with this, making it a wonderful 2005 for them.
39. Full Blown Rose - Burden Of Sacrifice [659,900] (-3,730)
Same as #40, but more days on. Decent run when it debuted.
38. Kaci Brown - Unbelievable [660,056] (-3,574)
Hit #1 twice and made it fun for 2005. Great stats on IDRL, but never enjoyed an MWC run. Lots of airplay though, making it the 5th biggest impact of 2005.
37. Rachel Stevens - Negotiate With Love [662,057] (-1,573)
Strong finish after 3-4@1, great IDRL/MWC stats and was a threat from beginning to end. Was top 10 on midyear chart.
36. Kelly Clarkson - Because Of You [662,058] (-1,572)
Slightly higher than Rachel overall. She still has 2 more left after this one. Those are BTHE and GONE which are left.
35. Utada Hikaru - Exodus 04 [662,141] (-1,499)
Big run for her, hitting #1 just once on IDRL....but had amazing stats and made her a threat. Great run everywhere.
34. Pussycat Dolls - Don't Cha [662,156] (-1,484)
Kinda disappointing, but happy with 1@1 and stayed strong in 2005. Possibly the girl-power anthem of 2005 on IDRL.
33. Rachel Lampa - No Other One [662,496] (-1,144)
See #34, but hit #2 and #1 on MWC twice. One of the best songs of the year IMO.
32. Hope Partlow - Who We Are [662,600] (-1,040)
#1 midyear song of 2005, ends up #32 for the year. Great run with 12@1 for this young comer. We'll be seeing more of her in the future.
31. Lindsay Lohan - Confessions Of A Broken Heart [662,995] (-645)
Very strong run this year...or at least in the last month and a half. 17@1+ and still a long way to go before retirement.
Coming up in 30-21, where will you find Tim McGraw, Sugababes, Avenged Sevenfold, Keyshia Cole, Girls Aloud and Lindsay Lohan? Right here, so don't move far.
30. Aly & A.J. - No One [662,996] (-644)
Very strong year with great stats and a day on top of IDRL.
29. Tim McGraw - Live Like You Were Dying [663,146] (-494)
So close to finishing top 20. An epic song like this gets lots of love from the country fanbase. Great job Tim. This peaked at a whopping #2. Only Hayden Panettiere stopped him from becoming the first male country act to hit #1 ever.
28. Avenged Sevenfold - Bat Country [663,146] (-494)
Higher due to more #1's. Fantastic run since debut. This is the 3rd highest rock song for 2005. Best hard rock song of the year if it were to me.
27. Natasha Bedingfield - These Words [663,150] (-490)
See #28. Very upbeat song which I didn't like all that much at first, but eventually got addicting and did well.
26. Lindsay Lohan - First [663,156] (-484)
Only 1@1 on IDRL, but was great elsewhere. 8th biggest impact of 2005, right behind COABH. Her highest in 2004 was #13 with That Girl.
25. Coldplay - Speed Of Sound [663,157] (-483)
Same as #26-#27. Great run everywhere since it debuted. Probably the best ac song of the year imo.
24. Duran Duran - What Happens Tomorrow [663,241] (-399)
They did great in 2005 with 3 songs doing well. This was the best of it with great stats all-around. 1@1 on IDRL.
23. Keyshia Cole - I Should've Cheated [663,366] (-274)
A nice run with 3@1 and good MWC run [not televised]. She still has a way to go, but is working on it with her run for top of 2006.
22. Girls Aloud - Wake Me Up [663,469] (-171)
5@1, that's all you can say. Rock on GA! Their best in 2004 was #15 with SOTU, that hit 12-15@1. Surprising 2005 for them.
21. Sugababes - Million Different Ways [663,640] (=)
They showed us their best this year with MDW. In 2003, their high was #9. In 2004, their high was #7. #21 is 2005 high for them. They aren't too upset, but woulda liked top 10. Notable is Diana DeGarmo - All I Never Wanted.
Coming up in 20-11, we kick off the top 20 with a fine batch of contenders.
20. Anna Nalick - Breathe (2 AM) [665,141] (-9,142)
First of 2 top 100 showings from her. Very solid on the charts and WMP. This is one of the best and most moving videos of the year.
19. Anna Nalick - In The Rough [666,541] (-7,742)
Combined, Anna spent 5 days at #1 on IDRL and 4@1 on MWC. Nice job Anna. She is the 2nd best new artist of 2005. I promise you, she will have a top 20 showing in 2006.
18. Caleigh Peters - Reach [668,145] (-6,138)
Same as #24, but did much better on MWC. One of many disney-rep artists on the endchart for 2005.
17. Jump 5 - It's A Beautiful World [670,145] (-4,138)
Spent some of its run in 2004 and hit #1 10+ times on IDRL, 4@1 on MWC. Excellent run for their first retired song ever on IDRL.
16. Hilary Duff - Wake Up [671,002] (-3,281)
Steady run, struggled early. Nuff said. Good stats though. One of the best songs to dance to and you may not like my decision, but it's good!
15. Angel - Three Small Words [671,699] (-2,602)
2nd biggest impact of 2005, but an excellent run despite no #1 on IDRL. MWC stats were great and was the 2nd highest on WMP ever.
14. Delta Goodrem - Little Too Late [672,699] (-1,602)
Solid run with 3@1 on IDRL, 4@1 on MWC. So strong all-around, nice work Delta.
13. Hayden Panettiere - My Hero Is You [672,700] (-1,601)
See #14, but slightly higher stats all-around. 10th biggest impact of 2005 and youngest artist on this year's list.
12. Vanilla Ninja - I Know [673,400] (-901)
See #13. Solid since debut. 4th highest non-North American finisher this year with 1@1 on IDRL, good WMP stats and finished #11 on impact.
11. Kelly Clarkson - Gone [674,301] (=)
Unfamiliar sight for this song, finishing a great #11 for 2005. Her highest showing in 2004 was #5. This song peaked #1 at least twice and has done very well.
Only 10 left to go. Stay tuned.

Great to see Marion Raven, Within Temptation, and Vanilla Ninja in the mix!
Even though they should be higher, its great to see Full Blown Rose at #40 and #39! I think us 2 were like probably the only ones who charted them in 2005
And also great too see "I Know" at #12, that's high on my chart as well!
Great work! Can't wait for the Top 10!

AND NOW, THE FINAL 10! HIGH-FLYING SCORES FOR TOP 10 THOUGH, SO IT'S ANYBODY'S GAME.
IDRL RANKS ARE BASED ON THOSE WHO ARE IN THE TOP 100 FOR 2005.
10. D.H.T. - Listen To Your Heart [984,142] (-355,391)
Led by Edmee and DJ Rick, the duo turned everyone's heads all around with 7@1 and good stats from beginning to end. The skill they have has been imminent as the 3rd highest international song of 2005. One of the biggest cinderella stories of 2005 and will remain a threat a long time.
IDRL:7@1, HOT 100:#10?, POP:#1, MWC:3@1
9. Bonnie McKee - Somebody [1,024,144] (-315,389)
This California girl turns up the heat with her voice. Great stats since it began with 3@1 on IDRL, 2@1 on MWC. Excellent run since it debuted, though it entered sloppily in 2004 with 7 days and a whimsical #21 peak. What a difference a year makes as 2005 prepared to welcome Bonnie with open arms and she did just that. Nice job Bonnie and here's to a good 2006.
IDRL:3@1, HOT 100:NONE, POP:#45?, MWC:2@1
8. Ashlee Simpson - Boyfriend [1,074,108] (-265,425)
One of the biggest impacts of 2005, she has been so destructive with the most days at #1 on IDRL tied with Elisa this year. Good work Ashlee. Has yet to leave top 5, and thus is her highest endchart appearance yet. This is also her only song ever to hit #1 on IDRL.
IDRL:#2 (22@1), HOT 100:#23, POP:#13, MWC:2@1
7. Kelly Clarkson - Behind These Hazel Eyes [1,109,108] (-230,425)
See #9. This is Kelly's 3rd straight year she finished 15th or better on the endchart. (2nd best only to Ashanti). She has really turned it around becoming IDRL's Artist Of The Year despite having her best song being #7 for 2005, but that doesn't mean she had a disappointing year. She had a whopping 6-7 songs in the top 100 this year which is a rarity unless you're Ashanti, but she proved us wrong.
IDRL:2@1, HOT 100:#6, POP:#2, MWC:2@1
HIGHEST RANKED AMONG HOT 100/POP, LOWEST AMONG IDRL.
6. Delta Goodrem - Lost Without You [1,209,098] (-130,525)
Being the 2nd best international song of 2005 has its great moments. Delta spiked 21@1 on IDRL, 3@1 on MWC and has been such a powerful player since debut. 2006 could be her year too, but you never know. Making a solid run for this year is what helps out big time.
IDRL:#5 (21@1), HOT 100:NONE, POP:NONE, MWC:3@1
5. Cassie Steele - Bluebird [1,239,777] (-99,846)
Best showing from a Canadian. 12@1+ on IDRL, did the best on MWC with 10@1 and was very tough to beat. Degrassi stars made their mark when it comes to Cassie. I guess when it comes down to it, Avril might have passed the torch to Cassie here after having the best stats on MWC this year. Will she do well in 2006? Only time will tell.
IDRL:14@1, HOT 100:NONE, POP:NONE, MWC:#1 (10@1)
HIGHEST RANKED AMONG MWC
4. Ashanti - Only U [1,274,777] (-64,846)
Ashanti's woes were made up for with a #4 finish in 2005 for Only U after finishing #3 for 2004. 75@1, 40 in a row on top, never left top 10. What more do you want? If this debuted January 1st or was on day 36 on January 1st, it would clearly be #1 for 2005 by a wide margin...and I mean, WIDE MARGIN like 2.4 million points. She was dangerous when she had to be and really made a move. This was a record-breaker and just never looked back.
IDRL:#7 (19@1) <75@1>, HOT 100:#13, POP:#19, MWC:#2
LOWEST RANKED AMONG MWC
Only 3 songs left, very tightly-packed.
3. Elisa - Come Speak To Me [1,338,923] (-700)
Best international song of 2005 with 22-23@1 on IDRL for CSTM. Elisa's MWC stats were 9@1 tying for 2nd best with Believer & Going Crazy. Very good job from Elisa as she makes her IDRL debut very strong. No matter what anyone thinks, Elisa had been very tough to beat and so powerful as she had the most days on top this year....that is, with just a week left this year. There is still time for someone to pass her for IDRL #1's this year.
IDRL:#1 (22@1), HOT 100:NONE, POP:NONE, MWC:#3 (9@1)
HIGHEST RANKED AMONG IDRL
2. Christina Milian - Believer [1,339,622] (-1)
About as close as you get. Back-to-back years she was runner-up on the endchart. In 2004, she was #2 with Dip It Low which It's All You prevented from getting #1. Now, it looks like Believer is stopped at #2, just 1 pt behind the #1 song of 2005. Our hats off to Christina to repeat as the #2 song after a tough field. What a rare feat and congrats to her. However, Christina was not the favorite to be #1 this year unlike last year when she wasn't the underdog so she did as well as she could.
IDRL:#4 (21@1), HOT 100:NONE, POP:NONE, MWC:#2 (9@1)
1. Natalie - Going Crazy [1,339,623] (=)
It's obvious who #1 is isn't it? 21@1 including a 12 in a row run. To think, it started sloppily at #26 but became a powerful contender for the top spot during its entire run. Congratulations Natalie on having IDRL's #1 song of the year. She may have fewer days at #1 than Elisa and Ashlee, but she spent more days in the top of the WMP and MWC support which makes Natalie barely the #1 song of 2005 with Going Crazy. She put up a tough fight from start to finish and she was the favorite to win the year.
IDRL:#3 (21@1), HOT 100:#15?, POP:#8, MWC:#4 (9@1)
-------------------
Well Gimpy, I wasn't able to get any Full Blown Rose songs on a burnable cd since I wasn't able to use my computer while I didn't have a mouse/keyboard. FBR lost some points, but it was enough to stay top 40 for 2005.
