There is absolutely nothing wrong with Times New Roman.
It's a very basic serif font, but it gets the job done.
Comic Sans is complete trash. As is Papyrus. Jokerman. And really the majority of the default fonts that come with a Windows machine.

Obviously Comic Sans is universally hated. Papyrus is a piece of **** too. I guess it's supposed to look old or something, but it's just hard to read and too thin.

Century Gothic is wack too. It was nice in middle school, but by now, it's far overdone.
There are much better, less basic and generic alternatives, like ITC Avant Garde for example.

Why helvetica? It's considered one of the best fonts of all time and it is indeed really good.
