Maybe this is the single version and she still has an album version for us with the high notes?
Naw this ALWAYS happens. Artists perform tracks before the album drops they get to play around with vocals live and all then you hear the studio version and none of it is there.
It's rather underwhelming. All her singles have been just decent-ish, but I expect so much more from her.
This isn't how you truly break into the industry.
I think the same for Rihanna is going to happen for her. Nothing too WOW on the debut, but the sophomore album will determine if she will be around for long.

Yeah i'm a Rita fan and I think the three released tracks are ok. Not bad, but they could be much more. Excited for tracks like "Fair" and "Facemelt" though. Know they are going to be massive.
